Its CoD, there will be a solid community at the least it will have the Wii CoD players.
If it is a new standard, I think that it will allow for tons of creativity in the gaming industry that has been sorely lacking for sometime now. I honestly would like to see all 3 systems be unique in their own way while adapting to new standards such as social integration.

As it should. The Vita is a dedicated handheld device, the Wii u gamepad is only a controller. There isn't much comparison there besides they have buttons and a screen. Its obvious the Vita can do more than a controller can on its own, shoot the 3DS can do more than a controller as well.
The question is can the Vita act as a standalone controller efficiently for asymmetric gameplay with the PS3. And I think it can however I think the Wii u will be a better value because ...
Speak for yourself. There are a lot of GAMING fans that will be looking to get their hands on it. Gaming isn't about splitting people into groups ("core" vs "casual") its about being entertained and/or being competitive but gaming is nothing that should be taken extremely seriously unless your getting paid for it, these are toys afterall. Anyone but Gamestop. There is sooooo many problems with the retailer as a whole. Personally I prefer Amazon as I can buy new and Retro stuff all in the same place without waiting in line or dealing with a clerk annoying me with preorder offers and getting mad at me if I want to cancel a preorder. So for me its Amazon for online and mom-and-pop game shops for in-store.

Its good for you and many other PS3 gamers but its not good for business for Sony. Not with the competition coming out and potentially dominating the market. I don't believe Sony is OK with allowing their market share to slip next gen like it did this gen. They'll release the PS4 in a timely manner.

The PS2 Slim was released in North America October 2004, which was 2 full years before the PS3 launched so they don't do it the year before a new system comes out every time, in fact, they never have.
I couldnt agree with you more! Having a marquee 3rd person action game is pretty essential these days and I'd love for Nintendo to either develop or have a 3rd party develop an exclusive TPS. It could be sci-fi it doesn't have to be modern or realistic it just has to be a fun game. Nintendo could really drive their point home of wanting to take online gaming seriously if the game has a robust online infrastructure.

"We" don't need that, that's what you want. Graphics are important but its far from being the end all be all. There are a lot of gamers that got use out of their Wii and chances are they did because they had fun playing the games. No they didn't have a large library of M-rated games or shooters or intensive graphics but in a sense those (just like motion controls) are gimmicks to get people to buy the games. They instill a thought into children and immature minded adults...
I would like to see less shooters and more of anything else. I love a great TPS or FPS but the genre has been oversaturated and the fad is kinda played out. Hopefully next gen we'll see more balance but I'm not holding my breathe

Chill out man. It was simply a list of games THEY wanna see on Wii U and I agree that those are great choices. I don't get political about gaming I simply play the good games I'm interested in and discuss it.
Only thing I wanna see when it comes to this game is Crash Bandicoot getting announced.

I agree with both of you 100% and I wish there were more gamers like us around. More open-minded and overall just having a love for gaming and not restricting yourself to one genre, one game or one system (nothing wrong with being that kinda gamer but when they start bashing others is when it rears its ugly head).

30 mill for the PS3 in 3 years while the system already reached its peak while only selling 11.6 mill per year? Yeah that's feasible.
But as a PlayStation fan since day one I do commend them for continuing to support their older platforms. I wish Microsoft would've continued with the Original Xbox, that thing had the world of potential.
