I agree whole-heartedly.
I thought this game would be a perfect fit for paper Mario characters. Good to see some in here
To each his own. I feel its not necessary. Ratings? Absolutely. Genres? Absolutely. Dividing gamers into groups? Not necessary.
That of course is only my opinion and I respect yours. We'll agree to disagree.
The term "hardcore gamer" makes me laugh every time I see it or hear it. If your a gamer your a gamer. You like playing entertaining games no matter the genre or style, dividing it into gaming "groups" is just silly imo.
I don't see how anyone who enjoys videogames could disagree with that comment.
This is something that should've happened 4 or 5 years ago.
C-stick was introduced with gamecube, n64 only had C directional buttons but yes both took some getting used to, pretty much every Nintendo controller does which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
The N64 and Wii standard controllers felt "natural" even tho they completely strayed away from traditional controllers (the n64 controller had 3 handles! LOL) but a controller molded after a more modern design that is similar to other systems is "unnatural" OK. Ill judge for myself but I seriously doubt the gamepad will feel any more awkward than the n64 or wii controllers when I first used them.
This pretty much sums up my thoughts on it as well. I agree whole-heartedly. Rumble isn't make or break, I used a sixaxis controller for almost 2 years before the dualshock 3, but it is a nice feature.
Still not sure why Nintendo would skimp on the rumble for the pro controller(when they started rumble) and analog triggers (when they had em for gamecube) then charge $49 for it. I was expecting maybe $35-40 but I guess there's something I don't know about the tec...
Dualshock controllers have always had rumble, hence the dual "shock" name. It was the original sixaxis controller I believe your referencing.
Cut it out with that. You can play videogames of all genres and styles across all platforms. "Hardcore gaming" is a term a bunch of entitled nerds came up with and has no true definition. If you play videogames your a gamer. I don't care how much or how little you play them or what system/computer you play it on.
@realiks
I know, which is why I said what I said.
If behind means selling more then your competition then sure, I suppose Nintendo is indeed behind Ms/Sony. As far as you being THAT influenced by your friends when it comes to purchasing a videogame machine, hey that's your own choice I can see why you would wanna play with friends but by no means does that same effect come into play with single player games but to each his own.
wii u naysayers finally get the ads they so desperately needed for whatever reason.
Samus is the easy choice.
Its a matter of preference. You may want to play wired while others are just fine over Wi-Fi. Its not a lose-lose for everyone, just those who need to use a wired connection. I think that the Ethernet port should've been added but its not make or break just as the 360's original lack of Wi-Fi and the need to buy a proprietary Wi-Fi adapter that was $100 wasn't make or break. That's just my opinion tho I respect yours.
Well you can complain if you want, you have that liberty. You and whoever else uses a wired connection. Me, on the other hand will do just fine over Wi-Fi. I use wireless for my PC, PS3, 360 and Wii and its more than capable but then again that's just me I understand you may not have the same speed as me but still I don't think its anything to get pissy over
Chill out homie, they'll most likely have a 3rd party Ethernet connector available at some time just like with Wii. The only fighting games that are coming to Wii U so far is tekken and injustice anyway so I don't think fighting games are screwed on the system just yet.
What will determine its success is all on the consumers. Lets first at least see the system before we bash it. Jeez
It'd be cool to have the chat feature thru the gamepad itself. It could put the microphone to use. I mute all the other players if I'm playing an online shooter anyway so I don't need a headset.
Just a thought...
