@Jecht:

Not my words man. They're the author's (my colleague).

Edit: Ah, okay. Is cool. :D

@HDgamer:

Agreed, they're two different franchises. What's important, however, is that Konami caters equally to their loyal fans, whether they like Pro Evo or MGS. No distinctions are made, which builds consumer loyalty and company reputation - two things that Square-Enix, for example, used to possess worldwide before they started releasing sub-par tit...

Hence Konami being called the anti-360 to Valve's anti-PS3 stance.

Edit: "Kojima likes all platforms, its konami which is the problem. Reminds me of Gabe Newell."

It's like Page 3 - you never say who you hate to the press but you do say it behind their backs. Of course, no dev would be dumb enough to say he hates a console. Except Gabe Newell, of course. :)

That's one of the reasons, yes. Of course, Ravi (the author) wanted to write a "Why MGS5 Will Stay on PS3" article and not a "Why MGS5 Won't Go To 360" article. It's not just that MGS5 won't go on the 360; it just can't. Simple as that. Policies, technical requirements, etc. all influence Konami's decision.

We "predict" it'll stay on the PS3. We're looking at Konami's "development history and recent financial earnings besides looking up past fiscal reports". We're also looking at the recent sales figures that blatantly say Konami 360 sales are 3% and PS3's are 38% of their total revenue for last year.

But you can just say we're guessing without reading a damn thing, too. Whatever gets you off. :)

First it "does well" on the 360 and then it "sells better" on 360. Which one is it, if you don't mind my asking? :)

Also, the point is "Konami stayed loyal to a user base and with this new generation, where other seasoned devs are scrambling to find their bearings amongst mergers and multi-platform releases, that loyal base is carrying them through."

I'm surprised rumours of mutli-platformness haven't begun flying. Kojima didn't specifically mention his speech whether the game was Sony exclusive or not, did he?

Ratchet: Deadlocked was also pretty good, if you can appreciate the focus away from platforming and more shooting with squad-based fighting. I found the weapons modding system more flexible. And then there's the ultimate multi-ray smite of death, the Harbinger. Definitely great for a few casual runs.

Best review ever.

Of course, that only adds to the point that people who love FF8 are just setting themselves up for ridicule. :)

It's quite obvious you're a new guy here on N4G. Nice, cool. You believe you can fly, you have a dream, you want to socialize with gamers, great. Cool, welcome to the bunch. However, if you're going to come on here, go through the whole process of registration to just whine about how this site has as many blog sources as "real" media sources?

Do you know how much effort goes into maintaining this site? And no, I'm talking about us contributors who take time away from ou...

If you're working that hard for my approval, you are a lonely, lonely man.

It's a date! :D

Indeed. It's a response to what the Examiner. Yes, it's little more than some one calling out the media for misleading users on PSN but it's NOT a duplicate.

@-EvoAnumbis-: Like it or not, there can be a 1000 articles about the PSN fee but if they're all different, they're legitimate articles.

"They had little sisters in the game, making them big sisters isnt' really taking someone else concept."

If that's your definition of what the Big Sister is, then you either know nothing about Bioshock 2 or are bad about lying that you do.

By that measure, all the bosses of the gaming world are related because they're "big". Sephiroth is the same as Ares. The Collosi are the same as Ridley from Metroid. And so on, yes?

WTF is wrong with you? :|

Comment from the guys who broke the story:

"The dev team [EA] here is an outsourcing affair, and its work continues. But the entire corporate side of things has rolled out. So marketing, sales and distribution is now not here anymore. This shouldn’t affect gamers too much, as distribution through an established network should also be smooth, though the status of events like Vixture are less certain."

Never tell your audience why they should read your article. Especially don't blow your own trumpet so much when you're writing about Rare and for the HipHopGamer show.

Let the article do the talking. :P

It's most definitely NOT getting a limited release. Far as I know, they've already got billboards set up in Indian theaters announcing this garbage to be arriving in April. D:

The money spent here would have definitely been more suited for beer and porno. Hell, maybe the money was actually spent on all that. :P

No Super Saiyans from what I heard (it was my colleague who reviewed this movie), and they do try to make it as realistic as possible. Problem is, it doesn't work. Plain and simple. Batman, at it's true roots, was meant to be dark, gritty, detective noir and not the cartoony, camp efforts that Batman and Robin showed us. Dragonball goes the other way - it's simply not meant to be showcased as gritty. It's just not meant to be live action. This is the result, for crying out loud.

Blood 2 was significantly good as well, though most people dismissed it for not being as scary or grim. Shogo: Mobile Armour Division was also greatly under-appreciated and still relatively unknown but for combining mech action and FPS combat, was lots of fun.

Cate Archer: You really impressed me back there.
Magnus Armstrong: Listen to you cry.
Cate Archer: All you had to do was grab him, you dumb ox!
Magnus Armstrong: Cry, cry, cry.
Cate Archer: Well, at least you got his coat. Maybe he'll freeze to death!
Magnus Armstrong [mock sobbing]: Oh-oh, oh-h-h...boohoo!
Cate Archer: Shut up.
Magnus Armstrong: Make me.

Man, the remaining games better be something else. NOLF deserves way higher. Like #4 or #5.
