You always got this feeling of slowness in RE4, but I didn't think it'd apply to RE5 as well. As such, the object of the game seems to be running away from your enemies until you have enough leeway to shoot them. Still survival-horror in a way, but to the average gamer, like in RE4, it's annoying. On another note, the animation can be pretty weird when Sheva is surrounded by many villagers. As if they're all waltzing with Bashir. :P
It's quite interesting what they did in the beginning of the PS2's life-cycle. They bought all these studios and financed all these new franchises but games like Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank pretty much bombed when they first came out. However, Sony just didn't ditch the titles outright - they continued supporting them, improving them. At times when Nintendo was accused of milking it's franchises, Sony came out with more innovations and genre-busting mechanics.
That's for sure. So many lost chances. T_T
Obviously PS3 would be no. 5 cuz it's coming to 360 and PC too. :D
I don't think the sales of the game will depend purely on the number of people who ordered it specifically from Gamestop. Some people just need to let the game out and start selling...honestly. -_-;;

How do you proclaim a game's a disappointment by it's demo? That's the same as people proclaiming LittleBigPlanet was a flop because it didn't sell a million in it's first week, Gears of War 2 was a flop because of multiplayer issues, Killzone 2 would have sucked since the E3 2005 footage wasn't real-time and Duke Nukem Forever will suck because it's taking too long to come out.
In other words, it's ridiculous. Play the entire game before you go nitpicking on every little annoyan...
I predict about...+150 comments, several of them negative and this being a top story by the end of the day.
That of all Western companies, BioWare and Bethesda are the only ones which makes good RPGs any more. Funny how the West has been so badly pwned by the East in this respect. lol
Was kind of confused with what Fable was attempting, to tell the truth. I mean, just the whole guns and swords thing doesn't gel as well as say Arcanum did. And yeah, for a 360 title, it looks pretty damn dull. :(

The game has definitely gotten it's due. I say screw those guys over at Metacritic who are messing with this game's user ratings. Killzone 2 is the masterpiece we've been waiting for, despite some flaws. :D

But yeah, the game rates as an A-grade title. No doubt about it. :)
I asked Ravi myself and he specifically told me that this was a 90/100 game. He even stated it clearly in the last paragraph.
I was wondering why they didn't revoke their 10/10 review for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

1. Think no one noticed given that Shi15ya bombed badly (god damn Kamen Rider freaks!)
2. The real question being asked is whether SE were inspired by it or they outright plagiarized some of it given the blatant similarities between the two. That's why it's called an article, and not a news post.
All the games on this list are for the PS3, except for RE5. It's like the 360 has finally thrown in the towel. :P
