But seriously, I'm sure there are some good games coming on the Wii this year like Dead Space Extraction and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (and oddly enough, more horror games). Same for 360 with Forza 3 and Halo 3: ODST.
Also, WTF, by your calculations MS introduced the 3 year warranty on launch day itself. That's pretty extreme, don't you think? o.O;;

Ravi (the author and my colleague) knows that quite well, but then like Sony's lethargy in advertising, it's very well known already. It's an acknowledged fact. The article's main focus is how the PS3 is a completely different beast from the PS2 but also a versatile one - given the right bent of marketing, it can attract multiplayer fans, family friendly crowds, those looking for high-def entertainment and many more.

Mark of the Wolves is one the greatest 2D fighting games ever created, right up there with Street Fighter 3, King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Guilty Gear XX and what have you. Man the hours I sunk into this game...The brutal pleasure of timing Terry Bogard's axe kick to launch an enemy into the air and go all Buster Wolf on 'em.
Man, I hope this gets a worldwide release.

Not a bad list but certainly lacking in several titles like Dreamfall, The Longest Journey, Indigo Prophecy and Uncharted.

And the developers have already stated it before: RE5 will use the same system and mechanics as RE4. Gamers have gone through it enough though and now they'll need to do something new with the next RE. So even they admit it isn't much of an evolution aside from the co-op play. Still don't see what is compromised.
I don't think my leg has ever cramped up when I wanted to talk to the girl i like a la Laguna. Though I totally sympathize with Squall's unsuccessful dancing. :P
Word of caution: Don't say VI had less personality than VII or VIII. Just...don't.
