Oh, I've been mean to MS since Sunday. Lord knows they deserve it. I remember reading an article some time back about how Nintendo were all quiet before E3, and how they probably didn't have anything to reveal compared to MS and Sony. But man, this is more than any one could possibly take - and we couldn't be happier.

Long story short, it wasn't disappointing. Sony and Nintendo carried this year's E3 when MS/Kinect nearly sank it.
The only Black Ops proved is how it's more or less Modern Warfare set in Vietnam, Cuba, etc. If the initial reveal trailers didn't tell the author this, he must be well and truly blind.
The game is to release in 2011, so there's plenty of work to be done. Also, checking the impressions of those who tried it on the floor, the controls were actually pretty well done.
It's obvious you just want to harp on one single issue for the sake of hits. Your direct addressal of Miyamoto's "flaws" is either petty commentary or petty satire - it's petty, either way you look at it.
The 3DS beats the Wii in terms of the sheer number of quality titles, but then, the Wii's got some great new IPs coming out. Metroid: Other M, Zelda: Skyward Sword, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby, Epic Mickey, Kid Icarus - that's a pretty solid line up.
They should have cut out Marcus. Could have fit another game or two in that time slot.
Sounds like an origins story to me, and while a little non-descript at the moment, I'm not gonna let that dull my interest in the title. I mean, think about this: How many of you were expecting the twist in the middle of Ocarina of Time when Ganon showed up and took the Triforce away while Link squandered in the Temple of Light for years?
How about having to fight Zelda in Twilight Princess, and then having her fight on horseback LotR style against Ganon and his forces? L...
If Kingdom Hearts on the 3DS is possible, then please please please bring Kingdom Hearts 2 to the handheld as well, SE. Come on!

I was shaking my head so much from shame after MS's conference I thought I'd snap my neck.
I think we can all agree that Sony and Nintendo both had arguably the best E3 conferences imaginable. Great looking games, features and hardware all around. Sure, it was a bit disappointing not seeing Resistance 3 or Uncharted 3 (hell, for that matter, I didn't hear anything about the multiplatform ventures of Bungie, Insomniac or Respawn), but the announcements that were made were great.
