I have had this perk forever and not once have I seen a decapitation. I wanted to know gameplay-wise HOW TO DECAPITATE... I didn't want someone showing me what I already had read.

I've beaten Dark Souls and I went back to continue my first playthrough in Demon's Souls and at lvl 100+ I still got my @$$ handed to me big time. Not by everything... but I tried things I never tried after I'd gained my learner's permit from Dark Souls.

Love them both in different and similar ways. When it comes right down to it... neither are ever being sold back to Gamestop or the like. That's when I know I have a great game... when I'd never consider selling it back.
I've been wondering if the DLC would be what you mentioned as well. That would be awesome. Also, I'm wondering if the DLC's going to be given a "subscription" much like what Gears of War 3 did... that Microsoft created an entire tab for "DLC subscriptions" I'd assume there are many games that will be coming out that will use it.

Dark Souls for me with Skyrim as runner up... but then again... I've not had the moneeez to buy myself Batman: AC... loved Batman: AA though.
I think there was a bit of news w/in the first week that Skyrim was out that stated that some PC gamer went "out of bounds" and found unpopulated areas that could be Cyrodil and Morrowind. If we got those two continents in DLC... OMG... that would be awesome!!!
Actually, I disagree. The concepts that Demon's Souls dealt gamers was difficult to wrap your head around. I only recently revisited my game (I never finished) after beating Dark Souls and got my ass handed to me at SL 100'ish.
I felt Dark Souls was way easier. You have check points and health potions. Actual drop rates not dependent upon some mystical thing (aka World/player Tendency) and even items to make drop rates better (maybe I never found the item in Dem...

I was in the same boat. I was hours upon hours in when I finally had to throw in the towel. The straw that broke my back was several quests in a row that all had you looking for some different dark elves with similarly f'd up names.
Still I miss hovering around everywhere.

I just did this quest the other day. It worked fine for me. My name was cleared upon exiting the jail/mine. Course I have not accepted the latest update yet cuz I've heard bad things.. that might have something to do with it.

Couldn't agree more... the relief you feel once you make it to a bonfire is something I haven't felt from any games for a long time. I haven't been scared for my avatar in a long time. Dark Souls made that happen all the time.
I'm pretty high lvl and I still get owned if I forget patience.

Out of anything they nerfed I wish they hadn't done the ring shield... that thing got my butt through Lost Izalith when I had to kill those dragon's leg monsters. Otherwise they'd just stomp the p!$$ out of me.
