Lollipop Chainsaw comparison?!?!? Really?
My girlfriend played that and while I agree it was totally a sexploitation game... the main character WAS A SENIOR IN HS and THE GAME STARTS ON HER 18th BIRTHDAY. By all intents and purposes SHE IS AN ADULT.
I'm so happy not to be included in this game's intended audience of child porn officianados. People can call me culturally immature all they want. From the many descriptions of this game I've fou...
0/10 caught my eye and is the only reason I clicked:
It got a bad score because the reviewer thinks it glamorizes the sexualization of children (aka Pedophilia). I get this same impression from several (if not all) other reviews of this game. A review is simply one person's opinion; but, if there was nothing redeemable for this person in this game, a zero is as valid as people griping about the score.
Sweet! Thanks for the info =]
Yeah... it was a real pi$$er, imHo. The night before this happened, my girlfriend and I had just transferred all of our saved games over to cloud so she could fit the Borderlands 2 DLC onto her HDD. Not having any access to our save files for the 1st weekend after Xmas sucked... I was able to access mine as of late Saturday night but as of last night she still wasn't able to access her cloud.
I've taken all my saved games back. My girlfriend will do the same, spac...
They are as difficult as the player makes them to be.
Add an "Easy Mode" for the casuals.
Just make that setting unable to participate in PvP/MP. With the way DeS and DkS worked, having the single player campaign be easier would make it so that people get the best weapons for PvP/MP easiest. It's akin to getting all the upper tier weapons usable in CoD MP by playing the SP campaign on casual. Bet people don't like that idea.
So give the casuals the option of either limiting their experience...
Know what I'd love? FromSoft to give the option of Easy or Normal but make them the exact same thing. After the pendant, I wouldn't put it past em'.
And Dk, I completely agree that the sissyfication of the generations and placating to lazyness is definitely something that matters.
More accessible? Fine!!! I've logged almost a thousand hours in DkS and a few hundred in DeS. I want FromSoft to be successful, more people to play(get over their fear of failure), and more Souls games in the future.
Sure put an easy mode in the next Souls game...
*BUT*
- don't let "easy mode playthroughs" get PvP/MP. The idea that someone could potentially get the best weapons for PvP through an easy/quick path doesn't sit...

I'm so addicted to these Souls games... Can't wait for the next one.
No worries, dude. It's a dense game and there's a lot that is easy to miss. I'm well over 1000 hrs with multiple playthroughs and still find new things out all the time.
Can't wait for the next one...
Praise the sun!!! \o/
(SPOILER?)
You do not have to start off with the pendant. Reah of Thorolund drops it.
Yup... been a long time comin'.
Honestly... this guide for the Stray Demon is good on movement tactics but it's seriously lacking and a little misleading, imHo.
I disagree about running in naked without a shield. I think that is suicide. Fire resistant gear is readily available and is what is needed most... Hell, the starting gear for Pyromancer is some of the best and it's incredibly light for bobbing and weaving.
It also said that weapon choice doesn't really matter... we...
Newly warpable bonfires I've found (so far):
Duke's Archives - great for so many things both MP and SP, lol.
Undead Parish - right above the smith, awesomesauce.
Crystal Cave - great for Twink farming.
I'm hoping I'll find that more are available... especially the lower ones in the Catacombs.
How about you just release them to the west and the market will decide this...
*coughMonsterHuntercoughcough *
"Any port in a storm"
Not so much then?
Praise the Sun!!!
I'm really excited for this DLC as well. I only recently set this game down to get to my other stockpile of games I needed to play. Those other games are fun, no doubt, but I still itch to play Dark Souls.
I just put it down... again. Once the DLC hits, I'll be back in Lordran. Love Dark Souls.
That is exactly where I thought this article was heading but what it says makes very little if any sense to me. Seems like a very lame writer wanted some traffic and decided on a flashy title.
LAME article.
