My gf works for Microsoft as a contractor in the mobile games dept... I think she just applied for this not two days ago. She is having me "brush her up" on the Halo universe for the interview process.
I bought it day one and I am still playing Dark Souls. It's an addiction.
It was one of the few things that finally pulled me out of the claw-like grip FFxi (yes, the old-ass MMO) had on me.
I bought Skyrim when it came out and cuz I'm still too obsessed with Dark Souls I haven't finished it.. and I was riciculously obsessed with both Morrowind and Oblivion.
I just had a birthday where I recieved AssCreed Brotherhood, Amalu...

Idk... I remember I enjoyed the Boba/Jango Fett game that came out a while ago. I wouldn't say no to another Battlefront but a cover based bounty hunter game doesn't sound half bad.

I just got it the other payday for the first time. It's okay. If by the end of the year I find that I didn't use $50 worth, I'll just cancel. So far, I'm not disappointed but I'm also not astounded either.
Just started playing Amalur. I'm enjoying it so far. I hope things work out for the employees and fans somehow.
TBH, I think the most Castlevania'ish game that has come out in a long while is Dark Souls. Love that freakin' game. Been meaning to upgrade a whip just to run around as a Belmont.
For me, personally, my top three 'vanias' are:
Castlevania SOTN
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
Castlevania LoS
I'm not sure that there are that many games out there that could actually top SOTN, for me.
Glad LoS might be getting a sequel. I had a good time playing that game.
I did enjoy the last installment.
All this complaining aside... it's nice to see Dark Souls reach the hottest position on the front page over all the sequels we already knew had to be coming.
I agree FromSoft made a couple of really great experiences with the Souls games. They are a couple of the best games this generation. FromSoft really got their brand out there in the limelight. And I'm really glad PC gamers are getting the chance to play it.
I'm not one of the d!p$h!7z who scream out how they won't ever buy anything from them again. I’ll buy DLC or a sequel/successor day one. I'm merely a realist and understand branding.

Right you are. If all the other devs jumped off a cliff, would FromSoft feel they needed to do that as well? ...They probably whould if there was glowing red text that said "Try jumping".

I'm all for mods... unless of course I'm getting invaded by some naked Sailor Moon shooting wheely-skeletons from an electric Pharis bow at me; and then, when I finally get in position to backstab, I eat a chaos fire stream coming out of Sailor Moon's butt that also force pushes me off of a cliff.
I admit, I have no idea how mods work. But, as a console gamer, I hope modded avatars won't be able to PvP.

Many are hoping so. It really wouldn't look too great for FromSoftware to withhold the extra content from the people who have supported the Souls 'series' thus far.
If it comes free, that would be great but even if it isn't, I'll buy it day 1.
