I honestly can't stop playing it... and I bought at console launch. I still have amazing games on my shelf (Arkham City and Witcher 2 to name a couple) that I got for my bday (May) but I can't put Dark Souls down.
FromSoft really made a masterpiece, imHo.
They were a highlight in my childhood as well... Those covers all brought back distant memories, lol. I remember that NP that had Simon's Quest on it was one I used to the point it was falling apart.
R.I.P., indeed.

Funny seeing all those screenies being posted with 999 Estus Flasks. Truly weak.
For me ... the most frustrating video game section I've ever encountered was the final Level/Boss of Ninja Gaiden for NES. That game broke me. You know it's bad when you remember those damn birds roughly 22 years ago.
At this point, it's an entirely different game than when I first started playing just a few years ago.
For instance the Lvl cap is 99 now. And, you can reach that relatively fast now with all the modifications to experience grinding.
FFxi is not the game it was even two years ago, let alone upon NA release. It's way less excrutiating than it used to be. I've enjoyed it for years now.
I'm currently on a hiatus from FFxi. I totally feel your pain. That game fosters a feeling unnervingly similar to Stockholm Syndrome. I know I will return... I feel it. My nutty obsession with Dark Souls is really the only vidgame roadblock. Alot has changed in FFxi and it's really not the game it was even 2yrs ago. Some good, some bad. Completely depends on who you ask.
I vaguely remember this game.
If by "this" you meant "parenting" then yes... parenting these days is a joke.
Dark Souls for me. I have so many awesome titles to play right now but all I want to do is get back into Lordran.
Demons Souls and Dark Souls FTW for me. There are, of course, many I like. But these two I love. I have to force myself not to play them so I can play the other games I have.
Want to see... websense won't let me... so I'm bookmarking with a comment for after work. Nothing to see here, lol.
I totally agree that the Moonlight Butterfly is an underrated and oft forgotten gem from Dark Souls.
The first time around that butterfly totally brutalized me, lol. 2nd time thru I didn't even need to actually fight the Moonlight Butterfly because I knew about the NPC witch that would help me. She absolutely wrecked that butterfly. I barely even needed to dodge.
Online in Seattle, WA...
NES - Ninja Gaiden (1988)
This was the first opening "CS" I remember seeing. It's still one of the best openings, imHo.
Yeah... I just texted a friend about SotC being on sale.
Yup, I'm totally a:
0.0
And most MH playerbase is:

But at some point no matter which you may be your eyes will end up looking like:

If we can't laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at?

I don't give a rat's @$$ if Microsoft even ships consoles to Japan, but I wants Monster Hunter!!! Though this "article" is about next gen... I really want a Monster Hunter game for either my PS3 or 360. I just want it to be a true multiplatform game. Been fiending for MH but my hunting buddy sold off his PSP/mem card/games and it's just not the same playing solo.
Yes, I am a round-eye and I love Monster Hunter!!!!
North America?
