My favorite controller ever - the NES Advantage. That was such an amazing controller, imho. Some liked the NES Max but I was a Advantage person...
My current preference - 360 for the ergonomics and heft. The Dpad typically sucks on 360 controllers but the new "transforming" Dpad version is a big step in the right direction. Unfortunately, I think this new Dpad is still inferior to the DS4's. The DS4 is just too small for my hands.
I've had a couple auditions for Microsoft and several affiliates in the Seattle area lately where I've been given sides that have this language in it... "Always On, Always Connected".
I'm pretty sure this is going to be a reality... doesn't really excite me at all.
"... maybe even of all time."
"Legend... wait for it... dary"
Agreed.

You just put it best how I feel. I don't really feel as though one was "better". Both games were masterpieces. They are MY FAVORITE games of this gen, for sure.

Ugh,... "Orbis" reminded me of these horrible HORRIBLE drinks.
Dark Souls gave me a alternative habit to my FFxi account. Thank you Dark Souls for giving me my life back.
I heard this guy won a 100,000,000 internet points from Bill Gates for this too ;)
Pretty eloquent article. I enjoyed re-living the subtle betrayal Dark Souls produces once one has realized the game.
I'm not a fan of the in-game manuals we see now. The whole process feels clunky compared to just flipping through a tiny booklet. Also, I'll never forget just how magical the booklets for old NES games were... still love to see the monster art.
It went as expected from those of us who are rational as opposed to reactionary.
Mine would actually be any of the GoWs. Button mashers are my downfall. There's not a snowball's chance in Hades I'll platinum a GoW. Getting a platinum on Demon's Souls was relatively easy, for me. I'm better at that type of gameplay.
Sweet. Step in the right direction. I'll check this out when it eventually lands. I hope somehow it's successful enough to garner the attention Shadowrun deserves. I'd love a next gen 3rd person RPG.
Sounds pretty neat. I'll keep my eye on this.
I'm still waiting a proper attempt at creating a vidgame based on Shadowrun.
Nice to know they are keeping it active. Good on ya for those specifics. That's really cool cuz I want to try out the MP now that I've finally platinum'd it (which essentially led me to playing offline a majority of the time.)
As far as I know they never went off. Atlus kept them going for us... at least for NA.
Damn... I'm old =/
If they were banned on the PS4/NeXtbox, I would continue playing my PS360 and breakdown and buy a moderately spec'd gaming PC. I would not buy a console "banned used games".
Of course... I think CyberCam has it correct. This tech will end up being implemented later than the next console launch. Bait and switch!!!
"flawed assumption" = right on.
I only commented again to tell you nice avatar, lol. SotN is one of the greatest games I've ever played.
I thought if anything this article would be about HD collections. The assumptions made don't make much sense to me.
I have really grown to love this game. The main-story is definitely a shorty but the endgame replay value is just phenominal. Really loving Everfall. I wasn't expecting to like this game so much. Looking forward to Dark Arisen.
