People say 30% is too much. But when you're buying a physical version, what percentage of the that money goes to the publisher? There's the cost for the disk, the package, transport, store's profit... Would the cost be that different from Steam getting 30%?

If it were a true Story Of Seasons game, it would be fine. However, they will surely make it "app style" with gacha mechanics, microtransactions, real time stamina recovery, and whatnot...
I'm still waiting for a true farming game on smartphones, that also takes into consideration the touchscreen. Stardew Valley, being a port of a PC/console game, wasn't made with touchscreen in mind, so controls are not good. Dungeon crawling, especially, is very frustrating.
I was really excited about this game, but people said it had too many game breaking bugs, so I decided to wait. Unfortunately, judging by the Steam reviews, it still has many game breaking bugs, and that coupled with the save system that doesn't let you save easily, makes it a no-buy for me.
I really miss FInal Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King. With the constant stream of rereleases, they should bring it to Switch. Or better yet, a true sequel (that My Life as a Darklord really wasn't).
The only really good Dragon Age game was the first one, so...

I hope RE4 has aiming like the Wii version. It's what made that version the best one. Even though Switch doesn't have the pointer sensor, they made a pointer work in other games.
I always think romance is one of the hardest things to do in a game/movie. To me, they generally feel forced. FFX is one of the exceptions. And she saying she loves him, in the end of the game, hit me like a truck.
This is the only way for me to take this game's plot seriously.
I actually thought nothing in this Direct would make me too excited... Then, out of the blue, freaking Rune Factory 5 gets announced!! Stardew Valley did a decent job mixing Harvest Moon with dungeons, specially considering it was done by a single person, but Rune Factory is obviously the true king of the genre.
Even though FFVIII has an absurdly bad plot twist, the couple with the least chemistry in all the series (that somehow got to be in the logo), an annoying protagonist who decided to suddenly become the hero at the last moment (even though its defenders think they can see him growing through the game - maybe the way he says "whatever" changes through time?), the worst magic system in history (at least until FFXV was released)... I could overlook this all if not for the enemies that l...

It's something I actually caught myself thinking after I played it. It's such a great and complete game, that I feel that it doesn't matter what Nintendo does next with the franchise, it won't feel as good as Ultimate.
When all characters belong to the same company, it doesn't seem that impressive. Specially when most of the characters were already together in the same game before.
However, it may be that I'm spoiled by Smash Bros with characters from so many different companies.

I never said I'm going to buy it. My Vive is enough for my VR needs. It's just silly saying "80 dollars for cardboard", pretending cardbord is all you get, without acknowledging not only the software that comes with it (including a tool for you to make your own shareable VR minigames), but even the other "not cardboard things" that come with it.
