I remember that before Pokemon for Switch was announced, for years people begged for a console core Pokemon game, instead of a Pokemon Colosseum or XD Gale of Darkness, saying "we just want the portable Pokemon experience on a big TV, why is it so hard?".
Now I see a lot of people complaining that the experience feels similar to the portable games, and that they expected something different from that.
"I remember the 16 chapters but then it was condensed to 3 or so I thought."

"You’ve said the Shenmue story is less than half complete by the end of Shenmue 3. Do you think you’ll be able to finish it all in your lifetime?
I will finish it if I get the chance, yes!"

"Conclusion"? According to VG247, "It doesn’t have the conclusion we’ve been waiting two decades for and it barely drives the story forward at all". They should just finish the story instead of thinking they will be able to make more games. After all, even making this 3rd one was almost a miracle.
I knew this series would never be finished the moment I read, before the launch of the first game, that Yu Suzuki planned 16 chapters and the first game covered only the...
I was already disappointed when it became Epic Games Store exclusive. At least they decided to offer refunds.
I will use that money to pay for some months of Xbox Game Pass for PC.
It seems like it's not everybody who cares that it doesn't contain every single Pokemon from previous versions, or that they cut those things that only hardcore players care about.
When I was part of a fan made video game site, I reviewed a game from a big publisher, but I didn't pay attention to the fact that the review embargo didn't only have a date, but it also had a time. So I unknowingly published the review 1 hour and 20 minutes earlier than that set time, and it was enough for the publisher to contact us immediately to take it down, and threatening to stop giving us game codes in the future.
The kicker? Most other reviews were really h...
Because the publisher doesn't have faith in the product.
Do we know if they're coming to Game Pass for PC? Yakuza Zero has been in my Steam wish list forever, and since I subscribed to Game Pass for PC (because or Outer Worlds), it would be great to play it through GP.
Oh, they really removed the sudden random battles in all areas? Great! It was the best change in Pokemon Let's Go. It's much better to be able to choose which Pokemon to fight and to be able to avoid them when you're not feeling like fighting.
Ha! I opened this page to write "wondering how long it will take for people to come saying that Chrono Trigger already has a sequel", but I was 4 minutes late.
I wonder how they put people playing it through Xbox Game Pass in their numbers. Since on PC the alternative was to buy through Epic Games Store, which is something I'll never do, I got the Xbox Game Pass for PC because of this game.
For me the bad thing about the games in the Xenoblade franchise is something most people consider a good thing: their length.
If after 60 hours of playing it (completing at least the most important or interesting side stuff) I'm nowhere near the end, it's just too long.
Even so, I agree that they're much better than the most recent FF games. I didn't love a single FF game after FFX.
I played almost all Zelda games, since the NES. but I never liked them enough to actually finish them.
Twilight Princess was the first, and only, game in the series that hooked me from start to finish. I still don't know exactly what special quality it had that I didn't find in any other game in the franchise...
This all means nothing if it treats its "online only" requirement as Diablo 3 did. Lag in a single player game, especially when playing in survival mode, is completely unacceptable.
"No Bloodborne or Last Guardian ???"
They put Dark Souls, and that's basically what Bloodborne is. Dark Souls was a defining game; and while Bloodborne may be a good game, it doesn't belong to this category,
And... Last Guardian? Are you serious?
Since Eternity's Child (and confirmed by games like No Man's Sky and Anthem), I learned that if the developer doesn't show much of the gameplay, it's because it sucks. This mechanic of having to keep balance seems like a torture.
The reaction of the characters and the feeling of the writer was probably the same as in the first town, so maybe it's not necessary to write about that.
After I finished Fallout 3 (at least the most important things including the main storyline), I decided to try attacking everyone. After the 3rd or 4th person, I felt terrible and accepted that I'm only cut out to be the good guy.
The only other time when I tried being evil was in Undertale, because since I liked the game so much, it just felt like if I didn't see all the endings, I wouldn't have really completed it. I had a bad time.
I'm loving the game, but all of his criticism points are true, especially the ones related to combat. I put zero points in melee, and while I started using it only to save bullets, I still rarely ever need to actually shoot anything. Maybe they should've made skill points also alter damage instead of only critical hit chance, sway, and other simple skill unlocks to make them more rewarding. Since putting points in combat feels so unnecessary, it does feel like it's only worth to p...
"Is Streaming the Future of Gaming?"
Not for me if we need to pay full price for each game. To play the game, even when streaming, I would do it in a PC. I wouldn't buy a potato PC, because I would do things other than gaming, so I'd need some power. If my PC doesn't suck and I have to pay full price, I'd rather buy the game to play on my system than buying to play it by streaming.
I was tempted on trying PS Now, for example, since it foll...
