I really dislike this "long lost Wesker's relatives" approach Capcom has been taking with Jake in RE6 and Alex in RE Revelations 2, but I do want to see "Natalia" as a villain in a new game.
I really agree with the article and all the points it raises. Although I always supported them for the pro-consumer stance they (usually) take, Witcher 3 was the only truly great game they ever made, and this makes people think CD Projekt RED cannot possibly fail in their future games or that their many controversies should be just ignored.
I loved The Witcher 3 and I already pre-bought Cyberpunk, but I don't pretend they're an infallible company.
It's not "cheap tricks", it's the game universe being consistent with its own rules.
"…there were 718 fucking Pokemon now. HOW THE HECK CAN ANYONE WITH ANYTHING RESEMBLING A LIFE EVEN TRY TO CATCH ‘EM ALL??
(...)
Give me Pokemon Yellow in 3D any day.
I haven’t even touched more recent Pokemon games because fuck that."
The article writer should really try Pokémon Let's Go!
I just want them to treat the series with respect instead of lauching all of those spinoffs and cashgrabs.
To be fair, I can understand the Persona Q series as a way to bring all the characters from recent games together in an RPG game (even though I'd prefer the mechanics to be more like Persona and less like Etrian Odyssey), and even Persona 4 Arena was a good fighting game with an interesting plot, but did we really need so many dancing games or that Dinasty Warrior...
"Hard but fair"
Right in the beginning of Dark Souls 1, I noticed that my attacks bounced on walls, so I thought "great, I think I can use it to my advantage!", so I lured the enemy skeleton near the wall and waited until he started attacking me, so his attack would also bounce on the wall, giving me a time window to attack him,
Much to my surprise and disappointment, his attack went completely inside the wall like nothing was there and hit me. In this mo...
I love Mega Drive games, but enough of these same re-releases... I want some Saturn games, that I never got the chance to play!
I think SEGA is doing with Persona the same thing Disney did with Star Wars, releasing too many products in the franchise expecting to get a boatload of money, but only managing to make people get tired of them too quickly.
I honestly found it funny you casually writing "FOTNS" like most people would know what you're talking about :P
I rushed and bought FFXV on release day, which I regretted. Knowing the current Square Enix's business model, I won't mind waiting a year or two to see if the game is worth it.

W101 sold very badly on Wii U, even for Wii U standards, so probably Nintendo knows that even if it goes multiplatform, it won't make much of a difference.
Before anyone comes saying "it won't make a difference? Look at the Kickstarter success!", Mighty No. 9 and Shenmue 3 also had extremely successful Kickstarter campaigns, and look how their lifetime sales turned out...
They already sold their souls to Tencent, so this crowdfunding makes even less sense.
I am honestly wondering what amazing games we're expecting for PS4 this year, because I can't remember any other than Final Fantasy VII and The Last of Us: Part 2... Even then, FFVII "looks" great, but the current Square Enix have been making bad FF games that look good for a long time, so I don't count it as a certain win yet.
Even considering multi platforms like Resident Evil 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, I would hardly call this the best year ever for a co...
It's not just a company profiting from Nintendo's IP. Here in Japan, the karts were causing some trouble in traffic, since the karts are small and it's difficult for cars to see them or correctly measure the distance. They were even causing accidents. A lot of people thought Nintendo was the one behind MariCar, so the public perception of Nintendo was being hurt by that company.
"it's completely disappointing for a Blizzard game"
That's because the only think the current Blizzard has in common with the old Blizzard is its name. I don't believe we will ever see them making games as great as in the past.
Dragon Ball Z is a pretty average game. The only thing that makes us turn a blind eye to its many problems is the nostalgia we have when seeing all the scenes that were in the anime.
Dragon Ball GT was terrible, and not so many people think fondly of it. Without the love for its source material, a possible Dragon Ball GT Kakarot game wouldn't be nearly as successful.
Game developers doing crunch is like children making smartphones in factories. People kind of feel a little bad when thinking about it, but they prefer to ignore it and have the products in their hands as cheap and fast as possible.
This is the same score I'd give this game. As a fan of the series, I'm having fun with it because of nostalgia, but viewing it as a game, I would say it's even below average.
All the confusing and badly explained mechanics, important options hidden inside terrible menus, weird flight mechanics, orb and item collecting as a way to artificially extend play time... Good thing they nailed the presentation, so my inner child says it's still worth to play it (for ...
We can only hope for RE Revelations 3, but seeing as 2's plot had nothing to do with 1's, I wouldn't hold my breath...
