All companies in the gacha industry are scummy. There are some who can hide it a little better (or make their playerbase blind enough to not see how scummy they are).
It's actually funny seeing Capcom still releasing RE for mobile. It's been doing it since forever, and they always flop.
I'm usually not a fan of side modes like Mercenaries, and especially not of the multiplayer-focused RE games Capcom insists on pushing to us.
However, I would totally play a game focused on RE:R2's version of Raid mode, with stages and characters from all the series.
About the Revelations series itself, I do think RE:R1 should've been RE5, and RE:R2 should've been RE6. Although the budget was obviously way, way lower than the main entry, they felt ...
The increase is of course bad, but it wouldn't bother me so much if.... I could actually use the damn thing.
My PC Xbox App breaks at least once a month, and I waste so much time and energy trying to reinstall it, troubleshooting, deleting and reinstalling the game service etc.
And Capcom, being Capcom, chooses to keep the VR versions limited to certain headsets in a niche that is already small.
I really miss the old awesome sales. Nowadays I just take a quick look, see the disappointing 10%/20% discounts on games I actually want, and don't buy anything. Especially after the updated regional prices.
No, it's not. The gacha game is specific to smartphones. You're talking about a different game in the same franchise.
They should fire whoever approved this name. "Xbox Series" might only be topped by "Wii U" for the title of worst successor's name. Both names don't even feel like they are new consoles, but just new models/attachments to the previous one.
I did have one of those "where do I know her from...?" feelings.
It's funny how a different hair style changes a person. I saw some pictures of her with short or blond hair and it made me remember Kara, but making her a redhead AND with long hair, just bugged my brain.
Here's hoping her character survives until the end of the show (even though her character is a horrible person).
My main complaint about the series is that it mixes Disney characters and Final Fantasy characters, but they are actually not important at all to the plot. I read summaries and watched videos about the series, even played the music game which tries to summarize the plot of each game, and the Disney and FF stuff are barely mentioned at all.
All the series really is, is an amalgamation of convoluted plots that tries too hard to be mysterious and edgy, with some cameos to attract fans o...
I wish Marvelous ported (or remade) Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns to current consoles and PC.
It's still the most polished game in the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons series.
It's sad how each sequel plays less and less like Origins.
Really tried to like the first one, started it like 5 times, but it didn't click with me.
I'll try the sequel someday, but I'll wait for a good (like 50%) discount.
I think Nomura couldn't find a way to ruin VIII's plot with bad timetravel and convoluted Kingdom-Hearts-esque cryptic stuff, since FFVIII's plot is already convoluted with cryptic stuff and bad timetravel, so he decided to go ruin another game's plot.
It's actually simple: Hellblade is not a game (well, I guess series now) that uses flashy combat, open world and other things that are expected in games nowadays. Its value lies in Senua's psyche. Unfortunately, this is not something that resonates with everyone. A few minutes of Senua being mentally tortured without any battles may seem amazing for some, and utterly boring for others. Especially for game reviewers that need to jump from one game to another to be able to review them a...
Although I also felt like the first game didn't need a sequel, her going after the guys who destroyed her village and killed her man makes sense.
I hope they don't. They were created mainly to justify Wesker not really dying, and they do create more tension, but they don't make much sense.
Re-reviving things that were twice dead? Why would the virus stop there and not keep reviving them forever (until the head gets destroyed)?
And also the characters knowing that destroying their heads keep them from becoming crimson heads, while having a combat knife and lots of heavy objects around to do it while they're...
I hope that by "slower pace" it doesn't mean those boring segaments where you don't have any way to defend yourself like the beginning of RE7 or the house with the giant monster baby in Village.

And... "However, more bullets will be required to kill them off than in the RE2 remake"
WTH. Zombies being sponge bullets in RE2 Remake was one of its main flaws. I really hope this information is wrong.
I played a few Silent Hill games, including the first ones on PSOne, and the only one I finished until now was Silent Hill: Homecoming.
I would also put DmC on the list. Like Homecoming, it was also the only one I finished from its series. Not that I don't think the "real" Devil May Cry is not fun, but DmC was the only one that held my attention enough for me to finish it.
