I just find these lists hilarious right now with COVID still around. Any game without an exact ship date for 2021 could be delayed. Especially games that are scheduled for the back half of the year. I don't trust any game shipping unless it has a specific ship date for 2021.

I don't think so. It is more that the IP has worked and found its place in the world and knows what it does well and what it doesn't do well.
They have experimented with each Assassin's Creed game and when something works well they keep doing it, when something doesn't work they quit doing it. To me, they've just been adjusting to what gamers like and don't like about the series.

The lawsuit is happening because investors are scared they will not get the ROI they are expecting. And they are saying that CDPR mislead them. This is a common lawsuit when things don't go as expected with investors.
This has nothing to do with gamer outrage. It has everything to do with investors being promised something by CDPR and CDPR apparently not delivering.

Did you actually watch the video? They do explain each and every choice and why they ordered them the way they did. And it is actually technically based... Not a bunch of fanboys assuming that nothing else exists except their favourite console/games.

You are correct. The best way for Sony to deal with this is licensing a "Designed for PS Logo".
It is the best for third parties, consumers, and Sony.
Consumers know they can trust that the faceplates will fit their system and thermally protect it properly, Sony, can charge some royalties with the licensing, and third parties can innovate and make cool faceplates to sell.

You do realize this is a securities lawsuit not a consumer lawsuit? You may want to read the article instead of ranting.
Essentially, they are saying that since CDPR shipped a game that is a buggy mess, this is going to affect the bottom line and reputation of the company thereby not giving investors the returns they are expecting from CDPR long term.
This is not a bunch of whiny gamers looking for compensation because the game is a buggy ...
Then, the headline should be, "Why is Japan Studio losing so many people".
Then, list the people leaving, and show how that is a higher percentage then any normal studio. If there are 300 people at the studio you can expect a turnover of 2-3% per year.
This guy is not responsible for success he is responsible to produce games.

Microsoft does not make exclusives. Every game at least is on Microsoft PC Store, Steam PC Store, and XB. There is only one type of fan that qualifies games as having to be good and only ship on one device and that is Sony fans.

In case people have not noticed we are still in a pandemic. Developers/Publishers don't release games on time without the pandemics. Now, that we are in one. Any game that has an actual ship date is the only games that can be trusted to release on time (probably) next year.
No one can say with certainty any game that does not have a specific ship date will ship this year. Whether it be Halo, R&C, GT, GoW, Horizon, or whatever. There is just too much uncertainty...

CDPR promised that they were creating a great game and delayed multiple times to fix issues. They even stated they were going for 90+ scores. Their version of a 90+ game and mine are completely different. First, a 90+ game does not have any major glitches or major bugs.
And Switch is quadrupling PS5.

This is a ridiculous idea.
First, tech is going to change a lot in the next several years as it always does.
Second, both Sony and Microsoft consoles are released and neither console shipped a single game that took full advantage of the power in either console. The closest thing we got was Demon's Souls. Sound and Graphically it was next gen, but from a game engine perspective, it is the same game pretty much as the PS3 version.
