I was super excited about this game before E3. But, after the E3 demo I felt a bit let down.
There was really nothing wrong with the game in the demo. It just didn't feel like there was anything special in the game.
I will definitely buy and play it. But, I don't see it as the next big game.... Bloodbourne on the other hand.... Let's just put it this way, I am drooling to get to Bloodbourne...

Project Spark just shipped and is scoring good. Forza Horizon 2 has shipped and has scored very good. D4 shipped and scored well. Dance Central Spotlight shipped and scored good. Killer Instinct Season 2 will score good.
Next up Sunset Overdrive, Dynasty Warriors 8, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Halo MCC... Plus, a bunch more catchup Indie games...

I find it difficult to believe anything around Ninja Theory is any better than any other devt. Their games have been good, but I wouldn't call any of their games exceptional or overly innovative.
Sales of their games have also been very average. Given the exposure they have received, you would've thought they would be able to sell more on their games.
I like devts being transparent, but that is not necessarily going to translate into a better game b...
1080p and 60 FPS is more about the complexity of the graphical environment and computing required from the game engine than it is about the hardware overall.
A developer can bring any console or computer to its knees depending on how they use and require processing. No console or computer today can fully simulate real life in 1080p and 60 FPS (Ex. Interact with absolutely everything on screen, in the game environment with great AI and a great game engine).

Since you include TLOU and Final Fantasy Realm Reborn as PS exclusive you need to on the XB1 side include Halo Master Chief Collection. Halo = 97, Halo 2 = 95, Halo 3 = 91, Halo 4 = 87 on Metacritic.
So, in one collection, MS is shipping 4 full games that are above 85 on metacritic (3 above 90). In addition to FH2 and Titanfall.

Yep, I remember last generation on 360 when MS limited the number and patch sizes... Devts and pubs were forced to make working games on day one.
Now, that there are no costs and limits associated to patches we get this kind of crap.
Thanks, all the people who ridiculed console vendors (MS) that charged for and limited the size of patches. This was the best policy of last gen, and gamers whined that it hurt indies, now 75% of games ship unfinished.
People are really putting a hate on MS here... But, people have to realize several things...
1) It is in devts/pubs best interest for their IPs to play and look exactly the same on the consoles as this creates brand consistency.
2) It is in the devts/pubs best interest to stay as neutral as possible in the console wars.
3) As more and more games become truly next generation it will be harder and harder for devts/pubs to maintain 1080p in eve...

To begin with I have a PS4 and only bought Transistor from the bunch you two listed and it is an above average game but not exactly epic in any way shape or form.
And considering No Man's Sky has yet to ship I think PS4 gamers are missing it as well... PS4 gamers are missing out on Ori and the Blind forest, Crimson Dragon, and Max the Curse of Brotherhood "to name a few"...

I think you are missing the point... Sony had the markets as almost monopolies. They behaved just like every other company does (aka MS) when they had the chance, but then competitors came in a took over the markets.
Of course Sony is adjusting and fighting back, but that's not because they are doing humanity a favor... It is for survival of their business. Just like every other business does (aka MS)...
