I tried to look up other game reviews and there were very few to be found, they were hard to find, and the site seems to have an identity crisis...
The worst part is that I work about 60 hrs per week... I commute for 15 hours a week... I spend time with my family for 20 hours a week... I sleep for about 25 hours per week (natural insomnia)... I look after my personal self for about 20 hours a week (showers, eating, exercise, etc) ... Then, I sit down and decide to play a game and the network is not working... That leaves me with about 3.3 hours per day to do other things like gaming...

This has been the reality for the PS4 since the start. No retail games, it has been indies only. Why all of a sudden is there a big stabbing Sony exercise?
And just so people are aware, I doubt it will change much going forward... Sony might come out with a holiday gift and give away a first party retail title from last year, but, I doubt you will see many third party publisher freebies anym...

I love Uncharted and would play all three again. But, only an Uncharted 3 remake would be a no buy for me... It would have to be $19.99 or the entire trilogy at full price...
Halo MCC is setting the bar for collections. They should be the full story line. Simply remastering Uncharted 3 would be a rip off at $59.99 or $49.99...
Uncharted 1-3 at $59.99 is a must buy.

That's what its like on those projects... It is not about being lazy, it is about making the next deadline and you need to cut as many corners as possible to get there... Do you want them spending time optimizing code or creating the next great game engine?

Sony has bragged about its free games since inception. If EA stops the free games thru PSN+ to focus only on their own service that leaves Sony out of the mix. And if Activision and Ubisoft did the same, then the 3 top publishers wouldn't be giving free games thru PSN+ making it really just a first party and Indie ser...
I remember when betas were done months before releases so they could actually change the game significantly if needed... They should call this an MP demo not a beta.
Doing a beta a few weeks before release only allows for minor tweaks and tunes...

The PS4 library is Indie heavy and I play most indie games on PC because that's where the true indies roam.
I also, like the XB achievement system better than trophies, and prefer the XB OS and XBL network to the PS OS and PSN.
Achievements, the OS, and XBL drive me to play multi-plats on XB...
So, it comes down to just exclusives for my PS4, and from a Sony publishing perspective that has been very thin so far ...

Yep, mine has been used so much I will probably KO it soon and need a new one... I've already killed two controllers... Just a matter of time with all the games, OS features, and apps...
It has been on almost 24x7 since day one... And it just keeps getting better.
My PS4 gets sparse use, but I had to replace it a month ago cause it KO'd.
Gaming PC + PS (Portable and Console) + XB + NINTENDO (Portable and Console) + Smart Phone = Best option and best experience period.
The only exception I would have is a sniper rifle at long range. In all other situations I would go with 60 FPS over 1080p...

The first problem is believing anything that any company has to say about "why" they do something. The reality is that Sony promised not to charge for online gaming for PS3 and then realized that it was getting too costly not to charge for it. Rather than just sucking it up and taking the publicity punch the marketing geniuses offered up free games as a service in which they redirected much of the money back to the network services.
