I bought PS TV so I can start moving the back log of my Vita games forward and do so on a big screen. It isn't compatible with every Vita game which is disappointing, but it is nice to be able to play these games on a real TV rather than always on the small screen.

I don't think it sucks at all... X1 has a lot of good quality and games that haveunique features we can only get in this generation, and every console should be rated on the quality (not quantity) of games.

Indie games are almost entirely sold using DRM and that is over 50% of the PS4 lineup. Goto US Amazon best sellers for video games and it is almost always the PSN gift cards holding 3 of the top 5... There was also a recent article here that 25% of all game sales are now digital...

There is no accountability for game releases like MS made publishers do last gen...
MS used to force patches to be below a certain size and would charge developers/publishers to patch their games. This encouraged them to do more testing and make sure their game shipped without issues...
Now, because gamers bitched about this policy there are no rules on patching and no charging by the console vendors so there is no incentive for developers/publishers to ship...

If you want to maximize play time. Simply wait until midnight, start the download and then by the time you wake up in the morning it will be on your console.

The guy should get a life. It is not like Ubisoft is going for historical accuracy in the portrayal of its characters. It simply uses the characters as a basis for their story. It portrays them how it seems to make the story work.

These are fundamentally the same games as they were when they were made whether it be a year or decade ago.

The Wii U is a great gaming console. I just wish that they would pursue making a fully modern console, a modern network service, a modern social service on their network, and a modern profile service that tracks your game history in every game.
Nintendo would be my console of choice if they embraced what MS/Sony have done online, social, network, and achievement/trophies.

Have you watched the video? If that is a "bigger" difference than most gamers must have way better eyesight than my 20/20 vision. The whole thing look pretty much the same on both consoles. You can nitpick in the detail, but that's about it.
I watched the video and there are shading differences but those existed last gen as well. PS has always seemed to do soft shading/effects while XB has always had sharper shading/effects.
