The Sony gaming community has issue with letting go now-a-days... Continued and constant graphics comparisons (obviously an insecurity issue) with X1, fetish for The Last Guardian and the Agent which may or may not ever release, and now trying to resurrect and keep PT alive...
Forza 5 gives you access to all tracks and cars from the start. You don't need to unlock anything either.
But, there is an in-game economy to buy the cars.
I used to pre-order everything on my X360 and PS3. Started the gen pre-ordering as well. But after BF4, AC Unity, DriveClub, Lords of the Fallen, and Halo MCC my pre-ordering has disappeared.

The first problem is that someone believes any marketing gig for anything. The whole intention of marketing is to get you to buy something right away. Guess what, marketing is based on who pays for the marketing. Since MS is paying for the marketing on Witcher, they get the spotlight. It is the same for marketing any product, it has nothing to do with the product, it has everything to do with plugging the payer of the marketing gig.

Project Cars has less cars than either GT6 or Forza
Project Cars tracks are not as realistic as Forza (I have drove the Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca and it isn't even close for the way the track feels and drives) -No GT7 for comparison yet.

When you take off all assists and drive the raw cars Project Cars does not compare to either GT6 or Forza 5.

Actually, Spencer has said the Xbox OS is going to be switched over to Windows 10.
It will be the Xbox UI but the OS core will be 100% Windows 10.
This is part of MS' commitment to developers to be able to develop once for both X1 and PC without having to change the core code.
What about having a formal preview program that anyone can join?

What about double-tap to snap for achievements, friends, messages, gaming friend feeds, GameDVR, etc?

This service is better than I thought it would be. I thought it would take longer for new games to get to the vault and I thought they wouldn't include games like BF4.

Reviewers are not QA testers, but it shows how much they really played the game before reviewing it if gamers are seeing a suite of issues in the game that reviewers did not see.

I would say it was more of Microsoft made the wrong choices than Sony making the right choices.
I think 4K is a significant jump forward. But, most people still don't buy 4K TVs for their living room. Cable providers still don't have many 4K channels, and 99% of blu-rays don't ship 4K versions. I think most moved on this generation because the last generation had over stayed its welcome.
To me, so far, the games haven't been that much better this generation than last generation. Games definitely run smoother and better on the newer consoles, but there still hasn't been a game that set the standard like Gears of War and Uncharted did last genera...

X1 is selling as good or better than X360 at the same time in the life cycle.
What we are seeing is an increase in PS4 over PS3 in a dramatic way. And mostly at the expense of Nintendo.
X1 is doing good, PS4 is doing fabulous, Wii U is a failure from sales perspectives.

I'm not saying that there are no games on the new consoles. But, what I am saying is that there is a lack of quality new content...
And when I say quality new content, I mean something not released last generation or not already released on PCs.
