Here s a concept. Get the first one working perfectly on all platforms before you ask for more funding. And secondly where did all the money made from the first ne go?
I don't know how this is late.
No platform is satisfying my mobile needs yet.
Nintendo... Not at all...
PS... The lag for PS Now and Remote play is too much when I am on lower quality networks (Which is pretty much all the time I am not at home).
XB... We will see.
The same could be said for Sony. So far all they've really delivered from first party studios this gen is sequels and re-masters.
infamous, Uncharted, Killzone, TLOU, LBP.
You can thank consumers for the behaviors of publishers. This is another IP that was abused in the used market because it is only a single player experience.
It is way too hard to create new IPs. And there is a lack of certainty for success. Prototype was not as good as infamous but it was a very solid game.

Sony put Yu Suzuki on stage, trotted him around and is doing the marketing and may be funding the game...
Don't get me wrong, I want this game to happen. And I am happy it is...
But when big corporations get involved in Kickstarter activities I don't like it. Kickstarter is for the little guys. Corporations get involved in stuff for selfish reasons... Tax write-offs, mind share, make more money. When something is funded through...
I really enjoyed the Recore trailer. Hopefully the gameplay will live up to it.
Last generation saw 275,000,000 consoles sold between 360, Wii and PS3. This generation only 40,000,000 have been sold so far.
While BC means nothing to early adopters who are willing to spend $400 on a new console, BC is important to some people who are waiting for the console prices to drop and want to play their existing game library while next gen games are just coming out at $60 per game.
And this is why I quit buying games on day one now.
One edition cancelled, another one delayed...
I have a bad feeling that the quality of this game is going to be a lot like BF4, Halo MCC, DriveClub, and AC Unity....
Especially since Arkham Origins was a fail day one.
There is no chance I buy a day one WB game right now.

In a publicly traded company like MS there is no such thing as an impulse purchase of $2.5 bln. Nadella and Spencer needed to get it approved by the Board of Directors. Nadella can't just sign a $2.5 bln cheque.
But, back on topic, MS has over $50 bln in their bank account. They can easily afford to buy CoD if they want or needed to. They already have Halo and Gears. They don't need another shooter. Tomb Raider is another story though. MS sho...
I don't know why people buy these things. I go through a controller every 6 months. the standard controllers are good enough for me.
(Outside of one fighting stick controller for fighting games).
Kickstarter is about the small guys. It is no place for a company like Sony to get assistance in funding a game.

Just Another Call of Duty...
To me, Rare never left...
Kameo Elements of Power and Perfect Dark Zero were great launch games for 360. Viva Pinata was an amazing game! Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts was a great game! And their Kinect Sports titles were second to none for the genre.
They are just working on games that the core crowd will enjoy again.
Rare Replay will provide amazing value. And Sea of Thieves looks like it will be a cool game as well. Can't wait!
Horizon was amazing. Last Guardian looked like an Indie puzzle solving game with really good graphics.
Most games delayed for 5 years or more tend to be sub-average.
MS buys call of duty DLC exclusivity every past year and gamers say, "why don't they invest in first party games instead".
MS comes on stage this year with a strong first party showing with no CoD exclusivity.
Sony comes on stage showing CoD DLC timed exclusivity and everyone rates their conference "best ever".
The microphone on a regular headset is brutal for the quality of sound it can receive. The reason Kinect is required is that it is a very high quality microphone.
I was asked by a guy about this last gen... He told me Kinect wasn't required because one game supported microphone commands. He bought the game and sent me a nice apology afterwards saying that the microphone was crap and he now knew why Kinect was required for voice commands.
The 360 connecting is because this is not an emulator.
It is a virtual machine starting up on your console. You will notice a file that is 250 MB for each X360 game you download. It is probably a VM configured for that game to run in.

I don't understand how it was so "salty".
I'm just saying there are a lot of 360 owners MS can tap into.
And that realistically I don't think the X1 can outsell PS4 in anywhere except North America.
That isn't salty. That is being realistic.
Source code is useful, but that is only part of the equation and it is the easy part. Since the architecture of the processor, gpu and esram are different on x1 they had to build the vm to emulate the hardware. That is where the real rocket science is.
