LOL. I have all the consoles, and I love God of War. To me, this just isn't any news. God of War games have always sold well and this one looks to be possibly the best in the series.
I don't care about the competition. The only two games that are remotely near God of War are Bayonetta and Devil May Cry. The Bayonetta series is really good and competes well but DMC really needs to improve to get to God of Wa...

Too Human should've been a great game but its mechanics were garbage. Gears Judgement was just a massive disappointment milking the series, Halo ODST was a huge disappointment, Ninety Nine Nights could've been so much better, Rise of Nightmares was the ...
A highly rated game continues to dominate the charts while there isn't any highly rated games being released.
Kudos to God of War.... But, is this really that stunning of news?
Yes, but voting for promises or policies from your future government is a lot different then voting for something immediately tangible.
People need t start looking for the root of problems rather than just trying to solve surface issues. The reason why someone is willing to do this is because they are desperate. If the world works to solve the need to be desperate then people will vote properly. Desperation is driving a lot of human behaviour in 2nd and 3rd world countri...
Totally understandable.
But, to me the ultimate is just having one console and being able to play everything. When I buy a Blu-ray player I can play any Blu-ray, when I bought CDs I could play any CD. I choose Netflix and Spotify over Apple Music, etc.
For some reason a lot of consumers have grown up thinking that exclusion and brands are #1. To me the #1 vendor is the one that allows me to do more and doesn't exclude me from anything. Unfortunat...
I doubt the mural had much to do with the quality of the game. I guess that is my point. This is a gaming site and whether Microsoft is producing cups at 7-11 for Crackdown 3, Sony is painting the side of the building for Spider-man, or Nintendo wraps a bunch of cars with Mario Kart themes I really don't care as a gamer.
What I care about is good quality games. Sony generally makes good quality games which is great. But no marketing in the world can convince me of t...
Cost per hour is a marketing measurement not a gamer's measurement of quality.
Comparing the cost of a game to movie's per hour cost is a legitimate way to value games against movies. But, deciding which game to play based on cost per hour is not at all basing the decision on quality of the experience.
There are games I have completed the campaign in 4-6 hours easily that I would continually go back to and replay. There are some 50 hour experien...
Yes, I can agree that Sony make many great games.
LOL. Because a good looking mural makes games amazing.
My primary console is an X1.
But, there is no way MS comes out as "winning" E3 with the press or any PS4 gamers which is double the number of XB gamers.
Sony always does a good presentation and we all know that they still have several exclusive games to present. So, when compared to Sony the best MS will do is be seen as equal-ish. The problem on the first party side is approach. Sony has built its niche around great franchises that are stor...
More and more gaming is becoming a multi-player only experience. As this continues, more and more I am thinking that I won't be gaming much longer.
It is not worth my time to go online and be pummelled by people who have literally 100's and 1000's more time to play online. It is a pity, gaming has been part of my life since 1976 when I got my Coleco Telstar. But now gaming is a mess. Gone is story and an experience. Gaming has turned into more of an online ...
I think it would be best if gamers rated every publisher on release-to-release. Rather then saying some are defaulting as good and others defaulting as bad.
I agree that Bethesda has a generally good reputation. But, it only takes a release with poor microtransactions to change that.
They are developing a rotation on the same tech.
Doom, Wolfenstein, Rage, and Prey will probably be on the rotation.
If people don't support the good things they do. aka Great Single Player shooters, then they will stop making them. Although I don't necessary agree with all of Bethesda's business models for their games, the Doom and Wolfenstein reboots this gen are the best FPS games this generation so far and handled very well. I expect Rage II will follow suit.
There are very few publishers that have not made mistakes in their business models over the past 10+ years. It...
$100 is probably MS subsidizing the costs. This is not going to be a high volume sales thing and they need to recoup the money for the R&D and Design costs over time. I don't think $100 is an out of the ballpark price for a low volume controller designed for people with mobility challenges.
I don't really care about sales of consoles, software, or anything.
I am a gamer and all I care about is playing games.
I have had fun with Monster Hunter, Far Cry 5, Sea of Thieves, and God of War so far this year.
Kudos to you. The only real gaming comment in this thread so far.
Anyone thinking that any company is "looking after gamers" is completely delusional.
Makes State of Decay pretty close to the same size as Dying Light and Deadrising 3.
(I won't comment on the quality of the game because it is unfair to assess that from the size, but it does put the potential quality up in that ball park which I think is good)
@Lime123
Who cares? This is not a thread on Xbox, and my comment was not at all XB related.
My comments are saying, "How the heck is this news?". Frankly anyone thinking that one of the exclusive games like God of War which defines PS consoles just as much as Uncharted and GT would not lead sales for a significant time knows absolutely nothing about sales of games. Even ig God of War was in the low 80's it would be selling great.
