So, you've played it?
Seriously.... No thumbs up or down until gamers get their hands on it please.
LOL.
Hideo Kojima leaves Konami and starts up a new IP funded by Sony.... It already is a 10 in the minds of many gamers and we don't really know much about the story and the game.
We see a really good gameplay trailer from The Last of Us II, and it has a 10 in the minds of gamers.
An MS new MS studio gets talented people from high end studios and the first comment... "It would be a huge bummer if their first game was dull&...
Battle Royales.... Especially Fornite are just a way to spend money. There is no artistic value in a battle royale, it is plain game fun. There is nothing wrong with this for the people that like them.
But, for me I like gaming as an art form.
LOL.
Almost every studio AAA game gets help for the lead studio for either specific expertise or just plain resourcing they don't have enough of. Go and watch the credits of any large AAA game or movie for that matter and you can see there are a bunch of studios involved. Getting additional resourcing is no indicator for how good the game may or may not be.
I can't believe that this is news. This is a typical fear mongering tactic by people cal...
A HDD is required in the firmwares of console. They contain the information necessary to rebuild a corrupted console firmware and the games all require a hard drive to function now-a-days (memory paging, temporary storage, etc.) Selling a console without a hard drive is selling a device that does not work as it is.
I don't know how three options would be "confusing"....
There is already so many versions of the different consoles. Different bundled games, different drive sizes, regulars, pros, etc. I don't see adding any more options is going to add to consumer confusion.
And options are good for gamers.
DriveClub was similar.
I play it on GamePass.
As for fanboys.... Ummmmm..... There are just a lot of anti-Rare people out there because MS made them do Kinect for about 5-7 years.
Glad they are back to doing traditional games, can't wait for their next creation (as long as MS continues to let them do their own thing).
STOP!
I don't care what they do, I am not going to walk around with a controller add-on to my phone. I am trying to carry less electronic stuff not more!
I like the idea of portable gaming, but I will select games that are fit for portable controls (gestures and touch). I am not going to play FPS and other controller sensitive games on mobile devices.
Censoring is a decision they make and it is about the type of things they are willing to associate with their brand.
For example, Disney does not do R-Rated movies. This was a strategic principled choice for their brand. If Sony does that it is completely up to them and what they want their brand associated with.
A performance benchmark should not be price vs performance. That is a competitive comparison.
The performance comparison should be apples to apples. Same performance of all components except the CPUs being tested. Memory is a huge aspect to CPU performance.
Games should not be defined at all on quantity.
(Unless it is ridiculously low)
Yup, so everyone should go buy them right now, give them automatic review 10's, and stamp GOTY on both games. Kojima is a really good developer, but to date there has not been enough gameplay or story revealed to really know what this game is about. Horizon Zero Dawn 2 we know nothing really.
I am most looking forward to the LoU2. From the gameplay shown at last year's E3 it looked awesome. Unfortunately, they didn't tell us it won't come until 2020 on ...
Microsoft has been criticized for charging for its network forever. First, that it charged for something that Sony gave for free, then for charging on F2P games. This is a well-known thing that I am sure many gamers have been clear on over and over again. I agree with gamers that this is an issue.
The problem I see with the argument is that I know of no gamer that only plays F2P games. And I don't know of any game that is truly F2P. If you want to make any sort of ...
Remedy is a good story telling studio. But Quantum Break was just average and Control looks just as average.
Their truely good games were Max Payne and Alan Wake. Both were over a decade ago.
The attraction to gamers is all about mobility, not as a primary platform. I doubt someone with the newest and fastest consoles/PCs is going to stream on them much. It is going to be when they are on phone or tablet out of their home when they think about streaming.
Completely agree. Not every game has to be an epic commitment in my life.
People have to realize that streaming in its current form is not a replacement for distributed video games. Streaming is an option to play video games in two scenarios right now.
1) On other devices other then your console or PC. There are many times if I am travelling or my console is unavailable in the living room where it would be nice to play a game, but can't because I cannot access the console directly.
2) When you want to play a game but don't want...
@xX-oldboy-Xx
LOL. No company plays nice.
"Nice" and "company" should never be used in the same sentence.
I hope this game does decently well.
Alan Wake was a really good game. Quantum Break was an evolution of Alan Wake and not for the better. Control looks to be a minor evolution from Quantum Break.
