Overreaction total. Sure, he said a couple of vulgar things, but the interview was poorly edited. He shouldn't have had to follow through, especially when the author was reading into an otherwise blanket statement.
Quite honestly, I myself find the word, "homosexual," to be distant and cold. I don't want to be referred to that way. I love it when my roomie calls me a fairy! I think it's hilarious. Even being called gay is better than the politically corr...
I'm starting to switch over to the digital space with PSP games, just as I did PSOne, and hope to do for PS2. I will still keep the physical copies, but they're a bit obnoxious. It's easier just to scroll over to the games tab and just pick the one I want.
Not only that, but a 32 gig stick can hold at least 20 PSP games, and there's no way I'll have 20 PSP games downloaded at any one time. I might have 10. Also, you can download any number of PSP games. Yo...
I'll be using this feature a lot. They should put it on the XMB.
Just so you know, most of these games you can buy digitally these day. And buying digitally means more money to the developers. 100% guarantee of the product being in stock. You don't need to drive around looking all over the place for said game. And digital games are often cheaper than what GameStop would charge you for used, especially if it's rare. In four years or so, there really will be no excuse.
Last I heard XSeed hadn't commented. All we had to go off of is the PSN's weekly top 10 charts, which has been at the top of for some time now. A member of XSeed actually posts on GameFAQs. We were waiting for him to comment. I haven't checked in a while granted, but we are all still highly optimistic.
Besides, chances of a physical release of Suikoden in the west is low, because you know the PSP doesn't sell here in America. Not anymore. Sadly.
Hope Konami localizes this. We don't need a physical release. I think a digital release would do just fine. I mean, look at Corpse Party. The game is lighting up the charts.
The PSP will never die. At least, not in Japan. Everybody in America looks on with jealousy.
These low-end PCs set standards for the industry, which can cut down costs dramatically. Consoles are also generally low maintenance compared to computers, which means less hassle for the end user. They stress convenience.
Are TV's better than computers for using stuff like FaceBook, Twitter, and YouTube? No, at least, not necessarily. But the smart aps make it convenient for the end user by integrating all these functions into a single TV.
Matter of fact...
Depends on how good the games are. The PSP has been really shaping up over the past two years.
Or just let it go. Resistance had a good run. While the story wasn't always up to par, it was at least fun. I have a lot of good memories of this franchise. Let it go before it becomes stale. Try your hands at a new IP. I support you guys, Insomniac. <3
wha?!? You no like BABY TERMINATOR?
How dare you! /s
Yeah, that was one of the cheesiest endings I have ever seen. Such a weak story. What a trainwreck.
Well, they admitted the same with UC2 (the opening train level, which was planned as a bridge collapsing in UC1). Regardless, Hennig did a good job of connecting the dots, making the story an equal part of the experience that sells the emotional relevancy and psychological impact the main character faces.
Good stories often don't have their details planned out well in advance. It's about what you do with it given the constraints you have.
How much you want to bet they knew we'd find this? They're toying with us. I'll see it when I believe it.
*crosses fingers*
:'(
Let's not get our hopes up, though. I'm all for finding a publisher for this game and Umineko no Naku Koro ni. But the chances of it happening are pretty low. Either Aksys or NIS would be the ones to harass.
And the chances of it coming over here? Zero.
You don't need to recreate a game to be influenced by it. Also, if a marketing producer forces you to put CoD-like multiplayer in your game, would we be right to assume you were influenced by it? No, of course not. It's done purely for sales... mostly. I'm sure there's some out there who are genuinely influenced by the game. Though, I'd have to question their tastes. :p
Uncharted is influential. You're incredibly ignorant if you think otherwise, especi...
Multiplayer, sure. But most devs are focused on single player, and I hardly hear any state that they've been influenced by Modern Warfare's campaign. When a game is revealed, what is the first feature shown off? Typically, the campaign. So, this is where I'd ask for examples.
Of course, a favorite game is not necessarily the most influential, but more often than not they are. For instance, I'm heavily influenced by my top 10 favorite games of all time. I'm...
Fun? No. It's great to have fun, but I'd much rather be moved or affected emotionally in some way that changes my perspective or makes me realize a long hidden truth about myself or society.
Uncharted and Heavy Rain are both extremely influential. Didn't we just have an article detailing a lot of the devs favorite games this generation, and those two in particular were listed a helluva lot. Not to mention, I do believe there's been numerous articles where devs have explicitly stated being influenced by these two games. Hold on, let me check. Yep, here you go: 5129d ago 22 agree16 disagreeView comment
You're stange... and weird. That's, pretty gay. : )
