...As old books predicted, we shall see the death of gaming in our hands- until the "casual" market becomes oversaturated, and hardcore games begin to appear again, in the sight of all people- young and old, those people who will also embrace our dear gaming with open arms.
After that- gaming is reborn anew, and a new cycle of beautiful hard-as-hell and fun-as-fuck games appear in front of us, so just for the cycle -wich consists of markets crashing and saviours com...
I actually do NOT own a copy of RockBand nor I plan on doing so (but have tried it alot of times, liking the higher difficulties and the score-hunting), and I play Flash Games on Newgrounds once in a while to see our oh-so-dear gaming community creativity (wich, sometimes, turns out to be great actually, but sometimes it's...awful).
I barely have played "casual games", though, and they're not of my preference- I do hate them and what they consist on (hurr du...
I found myself owning a PS3 mainly for niche titles ad Obscure Japanese games, more than anything, but it took it some years to finally appeal to me.
I used my 360 to hell and back before- but now I find myself playing more with my PS3.
Although I simply have no interest for the games you mentioned, to the point I'd laugh wholeheartedly at your statement of " Sports Champions is amazing", and probably believe you're just being sarcastic. Aft...
THAT is what I find wrong with it.
@EasilyTheBest
Exactly, we're all different. I, personally, hate casual games. With passion.
My bad.
I, for one, COMPLETLY HATE LIVE ACTION TRAILERS. Get that in my games, in form of cutscenes, and UGH.
What a joke.
Nice update, must I say, but seriously, guys. Fix the bubble system or something!
Not only that, but also the bubble system that doesn't lets you reply most of the time, among other stuff.
All years.
Still, could be considered "Demon's Souls 2"
After all, it IS a game that's "made for those who enjoyed Demon's Souls" (quoting From here.)
Rock Band ain't Guitar Hero.
Everything needs to be saved these days.
What's next? Visual Novels will save porn games? Bayonetta will save hack 'n' slashs? The Witcher 2 will save WRPGs?
C'mon.
They're putting in a good deal of new mechanics and effort.
I just hope that if it does well enough they'll do more games for the PS3.
What made me NOT buy Siren: Blood Curse was the fact that it was a heavy download.
Same with Record of Agarest War, but then I bought it for 360.
I hate digital downloads for full retail games. They feel...odd, when not on a PC.
Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas only sold because they appeal to teenagers and their friends say OMG DIS GAEM ROX BRAH U CAN MAEK HEAD XPLODE.
Naruto games appeal to weaboos mostly, and hell, it actually sold good enough, IMO.
And they're there for SOMETHING. It's people's fault they don't pay attention to them.
Also, I played quite a few Mature games in my kid and teenager days- hell, it wasn't even THAT bad. "OH NO DERZ BLOOD, OH NO DEY TALKING SARCASTICALLY, THINK OF THE CHILDREN MOTHER OF GOD" is nothing but stupid bullshit.
Hell, the government is overstimating children. ALOT of kids are actually CAPABLE of knowing WHAT'S WRONG AND WHAT'S ...
That's a pretty weak list. I didn't enjoy most of the games up there, and completly disagree with it.
Posted my comment down there before reading yours.
But what Pandamobile said, people. That's what BF3 should be.
Grab Battlefield 2, copy-paste the mechanics and number of players, add some new stuff, and finally, make it on Frostbite 2.
There, you have what Battlefield 3 should be.
Oh, and don't make a silly bad port for PC.
I hope someone brings it to US/EU.
