The concept design is what comes first when developing a game- what it's going to be about, etc. AND THEN work onto gameplay mechanics.
Storytelling might have you hooked to a game, but I've always felt that gameplay itself is more important. By the way, what sets apart all those games isn't the setting and storytelling alone- it's the different gameplay mechanics they had, despite being on the same genre.
There we have the reason to play as the Female MC.

I'd like Sony to be more like Nintendo and localize Japanese Third Party exclusive games to their consoles, instead of only localizing First party/Second party titles.
And it is also almost a PERFECT game.
The gameplay itself is seriously perfect. It's well-polished, it's easy to get used to, you never have problems with it, and it rewards your skill over everything else. That's what makes it a perfect GAME (With GAME I mean gameplay itself).
Really, I agree than people give perfect scores to stuff easily now, but this is of the few games that deserves it.
But heard this is one of the best Idea Factory/Compile Heart games, wich is the main reason I'm going to buy it.
Besides, Moe Console Wars...where else can you find something like that?!

That aside...I can't help but feel sorry for Atlus. I mean, they're the only company I've seen that releases the same game 3 times (Persona 3), each time it sells an incredible amount of copies, AND STILL THEY HAVE FINANCIAL PROBLEMS.
On their JP branch they must have said..."SMT 5 for consoles? PFFHAHAHAH, let's release Persona 3 Social for ce...

Actually, alot of we DO own a Wii.
It's usually refreshing to see a few worthy titles on it, but most of the time it's collecting dust...yet, I still own it, as well as many people out there.
At first I thought "You can't die?! What a joke!" but the Beads made up for it, making me get high scores and perfect runs.
I had quite alot of fun with Kirby's Epic Yarn. It was of the best side-scroller platformers we've seen in quite some time, and the graphics clearly show than a good art style and cleverness overcome technically impressive engines.
If anything, I would say than you should try it out. Be a fan of Kirby games or not, ...

The fact that it IS or it is NOT completed only goes on your personal opinion. Being "worthy" of your oh-so-almighty money comes down to what you CONSIDER that's worth it. In my opinion? A whole lot of games are worthy of the price tag and buying new. That's only MY opinion, though, and I like supporting developers because of it.
And seriously, if you feel like blowing money away like that, just buy the game new, c'mon. Buying used most of the time is NO...
