...That ain't spanish, bro. That's portuguese.
Whoever designed that "Classics HD" thing in the PS3 boxart should be killed in the spot. Jesus christ.
Indeed, but can you call those "RPGs" in the first place?
I'd argue that they've forgotten what shapes the genre first and foremost, instead opting to pander towards the lowest common denominator. Depth and complexity in those two you've mentioned are little to none, let alone well-written stories of choice and self discovery. They're more like the hollow husk of an once great genre, the soulless corpse of RPGs.
Oh snap!
I do question your experience or knowledge of RPGs in general if you consider Dragon Age: Origins to be "amazing", let alone anything outside mediocre.
"Vito Gesualdi casts aside his manhood in order to play this adorable little girl adventure."
Like a boss.
I concur. Dragon Age II wasn't good by any means, but I believe people are forgetting that Origins was just as throughly mediocre.
That's interesting, as I, nor other peple I've talked with, have experienced such bugs. Hell, the only known bug is when entering the Wharf while you're early in the game, which can make the game freeze.
Perhaps it's your PS3?
Enviorments are fine in size; they don't drag on for too long (which, let's face it, wouldn't work in this game. Spending days only in battles would be a huge drawback) in fact, they're standard size for ...
Demon's Souls was 5GBs as well, and this contains, reportedly, much more content than that. By the way, what is compresion hurrr?
Regarding resolution, I wonder if you can even spot the difference between an "HD" output, and one missing a few pixels. Protip: You can't.
Not only that, but Demon's Souls also suffered of performance issues; namely, everytime the game got busy, you used any kind of fire spell, or something similar.

I do agree with most of the issues stated in this review (OST aside, as in my opinion it's awesome), such as the game's simplistic combat. However, I must disagree in a few points: the game's story, while indeed absent for...what, half the game?, is supposed to be simple: that's the idea. It might've been executed better, but I fear more events and it would've gotten into the way of the gameplay. That, for an Atelier game, is a no-no, as the games stand proud for their...
I've always pondered why people like The Elder Scrolls games, as their writing is bleak, lore is pathetic, are usually filled with more technical issues than fun and even their exploration is usually all but rewarding.
"If they are so concerned with cost then just release it with Japanese only audio which will save alot of cost due to the amount of VO in the tales games."
I believe Sony asks for most localizations to have English VA, however (This also being the reason why the likes of Arcana Heart 3 and Record of Agarest War have been up as PSN only games). Only a few have been exempt out of that, so far.
Isn't the Persona fighter 360-PS3-Arcade? The one for Vita's the P4 port, I think.
One plays sequels to get "more of the same", yet improved- not to get a completly different experience. It still blows my mind people don't realize this.
If you want something different, you get another, unrelated game. If you want more of what you previously liked, you get a sequel. It's no rocket science. If you CHANGE things out of what many once loved, it's no wonder they'd get upset- and they have all the right in the world to complain.

Well, the game being set in Brazil, with Max being a bald old man herpaderpasokewl and the screenshots showcasing chest-high walls, I'd say Rockstar doesn't have any faith in Max Payne per se. They don't have hope in the decently-written game with an emphasis on bullet time and all that crap; on a noir/comic book-styled game about a man who lost his everything.
Instead, they've faith on the typical third person shooter game of today: a bald guy with a probably...
You know, so you say, but this review is actually pretty good- it goes in depth pretty well, and mentions both strengths and flaws.
"whats the scale? where do they put really crappy games?"
They put the really crappy games, or the ones they may be harsh against, into a 4 or lower.
They slap mediocre ones with a 5 as a score.
And, for good ones, it's 6 and above.
...Y'know, how review scores should be handled.
@unknownhero1123
I can't talk about the game itself, as I haven't done much other than ...
If you consider everything below 7 to be crap, instead of 5 being an average, LIKE IT SHOULD BE, then...yeah, they do.
At the same time, however, they're fighting da powah by using the review scale correctly, for one. Like Edge, but you guys bitch about them, too...
The fifth is a sport game.
The fourth looks not only unappealing for me, but derives into ridiculousness like a parody of everything that's wrong with first person games of today; with a terrible HUD that tells you everything to do, EXTREEEMEEE animations and such a weak, cliche concept and, for what it seems, execution, it's even sadder people will like praise it at all, if it does happen.
The third is a game from a series that just doesn't have ...
"What great insight into the corners of gaming journalism."
Indeed.
