No way would Gabe go to MS to take this position (or any other, for that matter). He's not really too fond of MS and their policies to begin with. He's been championing Linux in recent times, he's doing a great job at Valve -- I don't see him doing a complete 180 on all of that any time soon.
If this crap were real, MS would have been talking it up at E3. But of course, that never happened.

Any increase to the clockspeed would be very miniscule and only produce tangible performance gains at best.
People need to understand that the Jaguar architecture was never meant to clock high, unlike AMD's Vishera CPU's for example. Therefore, people need to stop expecting MS to pull out a mythical bunny from their hat and announce that they clocked the CPU up to 3.9 GHz or something.

Ghosts didn't look nearly as good as Shadow Fall. Battlefield 4 runs at 60fps, has MUCH larger maps and more going on at once, yet still crushes Ghosts' visuals.
I dunno why people keep touting DX11 like it's some miracle API or anything. OpenGL can easily do just about anything DirectX/Direct3D can do (hence the title, it's an open standard).

Like I said in the other article (which I received numerous disagrees with, probably from butthurt PC fanboys), even the PC versions of these games look mediocre maxed out. I thought the trailer was Xbox One footage, but I guess they couldn't acquire enough devkits or some such excuse. Oh well.
I've played CoD on PC before it became a garbage series, and pretty much the same time the series became console-centric, the PC versions started getting gimped. Like how MW2 ...
