It's been a while so my recollection isn't great but I remember one from SA that stood out where you had to burn a dude called The Truth's weed crops down and escape in his camper van. I think it was one of the story missions that opened up a new part of the map at the end which were always special.
Does anyone know how successful Anthem was commercially?
@ Crazyglues
I did consider GTAO when I said that but I think it's the exception not the rule. It was borderline shocking how greedily they turned their attention to online and turned their back on SP DLC, I don't see CDPR doing the same. Besides I seriously doubt that Cyberpunk online will be anywhere near as successful as GTAO so the temptation will be far less.
CDPR in part do their story DLCs because they want to explore their characters and ...
Can't wait to see some gameplay for this. Elden Ring and Cyberpunk are the two big dogs for me.
I think they'll be well aware that's what the vast majority of their playerbase will want/expect and they aren't stupid so I wouldn't worry about that.
It's always a shame when a remaster of a genuine classic falls short. Some of the mods I've seen for improving the graphics of FF9 put this effort to shame and those were probably just done by one or two people.
Still a great game but next time I play it I'll probably just stick with the original, it might be lacking a few upgraded character models but it's got more charm.
I guess some people find pestering potentially underage girls to give you their panties, written in a dark and creepy style sexy and others find it...creepy.
How about no.
Good read. I can't wait to explore the city and soak it all in. It'll be fascinating.
Well this is all nice and clear.
Cool I've been waiting to see more of this game. One of the most promising gameplay trailers I've seen recently.
Looks like it pinches half its assets from Stardew Valley which itself is a homage to other games. Lack of originality aside it looks nice and I wouldn't complain about a spiritual sequel to Stardew.
I have no idea why you have that feeling.
This is the first time I've felt disappointed about something in Cyberpunk, I think it's a mistake. I fully backed them about it being FP as they know their own game and I still do but it does seem pointless customising your character and buying cool clothes for them if you basically never see them. Cutscenes would have sufficed for me.
Surely some cutscenes would work better in FP and some in TP. The game will be plenty immersive without making every cutscene FP. ...
After reading that, the only sensible policy is to not believe a word Quinn says.
Somehow I thought Mario would sound different.
So it's not going to be on Switch because it is already on PS, Xbox and PC. Righto.
Still waiting to hear about these mystery RPGs that make Cyberpunk look ordinary. Anyone?
I think most people would agree that TW3 is a classic modern RPG but if you were to show off a typical mission people would be picking holes in it so big you could sail the Titanic and its iceberg through them. It'd look slow and boring and not very cinematic.
Cyberpunk doesn't necessarily look perfect gameplay wise but it looks a hell of a lot more dynamic and exciting to play than TW3 or any other open world RPG I can think of. Hence the hype.
I think it'll be a little rough but a solid enough game with good value for money.
