Never really seen much of Conan but he's a funny guy, got rid of all the awkwardness that's usually the hallmark of these things.
Hellpoint and Dungeonhaven are both new to me and look promising. Silksong will be brilliant no doubt.
Best genre in gaming imo.
Wish a werewolf would eat you and your brethren.
I think you've got a point in that it very much seems a mishmash of a selection of other games, which probably individually did it better. However if the end result is a solidly built and slickly produced single player Star Wars game then I'm in. It sounds like it might have a few surprises in there too in terms of creativity.
Yeah this is all good stuff.
It seems like it'd be a relatively simple task to make a decent game of this type in 2019 seeing as the series debuted thirty years ago. If anything the genre has somehow gone backwards.
Personally I enjoyed Uncharted 2 way more than I did TLOU.
This looks promising, I watched some gameplay and it's more like first person Dead Space than it is one of the hide in a locker survival games where your only weapon is running away. You get a shotgun that you can put different ammo in like ice and fire rounds, looks pretty decent.
Dark Souls style Star Wars? Yes please. It's a much better fit for combat than button mashing because you're basically a god.
Sweet. Been some time since I was interested in a Star Wars game even as a fan of the franchise and this sounds like it's shaping up well. It seems to have the basics covered at least, remains to be seen how good the level design is, a key part of such games.
It's a click bait title because they say early in the article that Souls games are actually well designed, their actual point that they tend to hide key game mechanics and push you into having to google stuff just to get on is more or less valid.
Personally I like the feeling of being lost in a mystery, it's part of the charm of the game, but it's also frustrating at times. For me it's much worse in Souls knockoffs which copy the difficulty and inscrutabili...
It'd have to be something major for me like GTA or From Software being Xbox exclusives. Anything less and there's no urgent reason to switch, as much as I like Forza it's not enough.
Always a shame when they mess up the opening blurb because the article could be brilliantly written but everyone will write it off if the opening paragraph is dodgy.
That's great I'll see if I can cram the cartridges into my PS4.
Well slap my thigh and call me a screwdriver.
What does your wife think?
Barely any games have it mate it's a constant source of disappointment.
Good, that was a problem I had with the first game. Makes it a bit of a farce when they drill it into you that the slightest noise draws attention and you're pressed hard into cover while Ellie merrily Morris dances around the enemies. Immersion is everything in games like this.
Here's hoping that eventually FIFA will be so bad that it'll fail commercially and PES will be free to mop up the licences and produce the best football game ever made. I know it's not going to happen because of how ravenous people are for FIFA's micro transactions but it's nice to pretend.
Is it just me or have all the articles about well known people praising the originality of the game to the rafters featured people who may have never picked up a controller in their life.
