Something like that. GTA VC and SA were timed exclusives but not for long and I didn't feel like including them or they'd be in the top 5.
All games should have NG+ when it's appropriate and they should take the Dark Souls 2 approach of switching enemy positions around as well as making it harder. It's a relatively simple thing to do but it makes a big difference to replayability.
It would be handy though to have a team dedicated to making remakes that you knew you could rely on to do a quality job. There are a huge number of Sony properties they could work on.
Blood, flames, beast? Sounds like Demon's Souls.
Pretty bad success rate for that many games hey. Shows the appetite for a quality street racing game if anyone else wants to have a stab at it.
Couldn't disagree any more but each to their own.
I hate stuff like this. I like the real human side of acting. CGI Leia and Tarkin did nothing for me and synthetic voices might sound fine but there'd be no soul in it.
Yeah I was going to reinstall Project Cars the other day until I remembered about it being crap with a controller. They did get a lot right as well, never heard engines as beefy in a game.
On paper a joint effort between Codemasters and SMS would be something special. Presumably they've got something specific in mind to work on and it could end up being pretty great.
I always thought that SMS made good games but that they'd benefit from help from someone with either money or experience.
That was more than slightly mad wasn't it.
The resurgence of indies, they tend to be the games I like the most these days. Mainly thanks to things like Kickstarter without which they wouldn't happen anywhere near as much.
It is a genuinely brilliant soundtrack. I don't know if it has won awards but it deserves to.
Absolute trailblazer of a game, I guess the real credit goes to Demon's Souls but Dark Souls took that game and refined it into perfection. The series did get a little stale although all the games were great nonetheless.
More than ready for some news about Elden Ring which I'm pinning my hopes on being as fresh and groundbreaking as Demon's/Dark Souls 1.
Wow what a beautiful game. The trailer gave me goosebumps.
The lack of enemy variety in Nioh was an issue for me, it wasn't a problem for a while but it got boring enough I eventually couldn't be bothered to continue.
I'm not sure how much I'd have liked Dark Souls if all the different areas in the game had reskinned versions of the enemies from the Undead Burg.
Dead Peninsula?
Like the look of this. Solid and crunchy gameplay, quality animation and a bleak adult atmosphere. Could be a good one.
I think Blasphemous got overlooked, it picked up quite a few 7/10 ratings and maybe people didn't get excited about that but I'm a bit of a connoisseur of the 2D Metroidvania genre, especially the more adult ones, and it's up there with the best for me.
Great soundtrack too.
He's an artist and a creative but I don't think he's a genius. I agree he'd benefit from having someone to help him especially when it comes to his writing which is distinctive but bad.
You're right I think I'm conditioned to believe that if it wasn't on Xbox it doesn't count but (apparently) it was on the Saturn. Seems a long time ago.
