As I understand it, it's not just load screens it benefits but assets loading much faster in game which is something significant. The R&C rapid loading of new worlds is a good example.

With the price of new next gen games, being able to sell them on is objectively the best option.

I wouldn't say I was upset but I do think it'd be dodgy to position DS as the best exclusive launch title for PS5, get a load of preorders for the console then at the last minute quietly announce that it was also available for PS4. It'd be a low key con imo.

Got to stop marking argumentative comments as inappropriate on this site, turns it into a mess. If you don't like a comment just ignore it.

With how little work they do throughout the year on making a 'new' game they should have plenty of time and resources to get these things right. Maybe they couldn't scan him (probably could have imo) but it's an indicator of the lazy approach that they take.

It's a niche, low budget family game, but it's one of the most charming games I've ever seen.

Almost a bit trippy watching something that realistic that you're controlling yourself.

The players look more lifelike than the CGI Leia and Tarkin from the new films.

And when are these system sellers being released, also how confident are you that they will be exclusive to Xbox? Demon's Souls looks great and it's ready to roll.

PS I put at least 50 hours into God of War and there's another on the way, maybe before anything big from Bethesda.

He's not saying that support for ray tracing has been spotty, he said "When I think about games where ray tracing has had a dramatic impact on my experience as a player, it’s kind of spotty"

Not from what I've seen, as far as I'm concerned it's a game changer graphically.

Isn't Demon's Souls almost there with all that? I don't know how far off it is from ticking all those boxes but not too shabby for a launch title.

Superficial differences aside this could be a new update for Warframe. Looks like an Orokin tileset.

@Pickledpepper

I'm sorry to have to tell you this because I think you genuinely don't realise, but mate I looked at your comments and you're an Xbox fanboy big time.

Before you say it, half your comments are you saying that you own all consoles (before slagging off Sony) so I already know that.

On topic it's not ideal but not a big deal either. It'll be forgotten about before too long when next gen is well underway...

I like the black part being shiny, I thought it was matte. The gloss gives it better contrast with the white and looks more expensive.

"It was about 1 hour and 45 minutes, and I think it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to actually start the PS5"

Something lost in translation there I guess haha. Great to hear the fan is quiet that alone is going to be a game changer after all these years of sitting next to a jet engine.

I'm not into gimmicks with my consoles never have been. Sony are forging ahead with VR which for my money has the potential to be massive in the future.

I'm mopping up a few indies that I didn't get round to but no more big games for me, including Cyberpunk.

Little bit. Oblivion and Skyrim as well as Fallout 3 are some of my favourite games let alone favourite RPGs, and if they get quality follow ups that aren't on PlayStation it'll be a minor problem because I don't have a gaming PC or any intention to get an Xbox.

I don't respect Microsoft for simply spending their way out of trouble but it seems likely that they will have control over what Bethesda will do with their games. If I was them I wouldn't relea...

I think there's potential for it be exciting when things change around you at the drop of a hat rather than it having to happen gradually.

For example playing a level on Dark Souls when suddenly you drop through the floor onto the back of a dragon in full flight. Cool to imagine massive bosses taking you by surprise rather than showing you the boss arena then a cutscene to give them time to load in.

Never played it so from an outsiders perspective the new actor looks more like what I think Parker should look like.
