I can see why some people have an issue with the storage. Personally I'm accustomed to keeping a limited number of games and deleting them when I'm done with them, had no spare room on my PS4 for ages, so I'd rather pay less for a PS5 and accept a lower storage space.
Presumably if it had a massive amount of storage that'd be directly reflected in a much higher price for the console and it's expensive enough as it is imo.
Have they got any decent hair styles? First time for everything.
Probably because those are additions to the product and this is removing parts and replacing them. Phone manufacturers probably wouldn't be happy with people prising panels off their phones.
@Neonridr
Why not go and look at a negative article about Sony, for example the one about Demon's Souls not using ray-tracing and see how many gloating Xbox fans there are commenting.
God knows what they're doing there because it's got nothing to do with them.
I like how everyone's arguing about it and nobody seems to know what it actually is.
"But...if the unique features of the Dual Sense can be turned off...that tell me again why I can't use my DS4s?"
"I'm not confused by a corp wanting to milk me."
Like I said, you're pretending to be baffled because apparently you know exactly why they're doing it.
The first console I owned was a Gameboy and I very much remember cassettes and cartridges, but as I got used to them eventually I got used to long load times from PS1 onwards.
One thing I'm looking forward to is seeing the back of menu lag, especially in RPGs like TW3, it was painful flicking through menus after you'd accumulated a lot of crap in your inventory. Going to be so much slicker now.
People here pretending that they're baffled by a) the concept of a company wanting to sell peripherals b) said company not openly admitting they're trying to make as much money as they can, because it's distasteful to say so.
Believe it or not companies such as Sony, and yes even Microsoft, want to sell you things.
That's cool. I'm completely used to and ok with long loading times because it's normal to me but as soon as I can ditch them I know I'll realise how bad they actually were. This is a big step forwards.
Pretty sure the Xbox is styled after a shoebox.
I take your point but on the other hand if the original was a 9 and the remake was amazing and improved the game in numerous ways, perhaps ironing over any faults I think it could be a 10.
There's still time. It seems that they had basic plans for it but didn't have the time or money to do it so invented a reason to explain why it was broken.
If the remake is a success it wouldn't be hard to see a collaboration with From to make it as DLC. Wouldn't surprise me if Miyazaki had ideas for it that he'd like to see completed.
Thing is though...why bother with ambiguous PR speak if they're all going to be exclusive. State clearly that they are, build hype and watch those Xboxes fly off the shelves. He ain't doing that.
In fairness it's my understanding that the gloss is due to a removable film you get on this sort of stuff and it's matte underneath. Could be wrong.
The PS5 is a bit of a grower (not literally thank god) but yeah that's pretty much what I think. At least Sony had a crack at something original and no doubt it's got people talking.
Hype is overrated if anything it just sets you up for disappointment. If it's a good game it's a good game and you'll enjoy it.
Yeah I remember at the time thinking I bet those are just gimmicks, not so this time.
It's big because it's designed around a massive cooling fan and carefully planned airflow, this is a good thing. If it was big just for the hell of it I'd understand the complaints more.
Totally agree, amazing game. I wonder if it might have anything to do with Silksong being imminent.
I'd actually like Bluepoint to keep on with the remakes, I like the idea of one studio making top quality remakes of classic games that are showing their age.
