The censored version is sexier anyway!
Sadly, in my opinion, it was quite boring and the controls were awful! No one else felt this way; really? Huh. :0
And all those on neogaf saying there is no lag; really? They've obviously never heard of lag compensation and smoothing to hide it. I died without even being rolled over and had seen multiple double kills.
I was NOT impressed by the demo, beta, or whatever it's called. So much that I'm no longer going to pre-order it (but instead, borrow it first). Moving left of right with the right stick and Aiming with the motion controls is REALLY difficult, like trying to learn to use 3 analog sticks with only two hands. Turn it off and use only the right stick, the dead zones and sensitivity (even adjusted) is almost just as difficult and, just weird. That is coming from someone really good at sho...
Can't wait for Star Fox!
My passion has only been getting worse over the years. The industry is absolutely saturated with one genre; the shooter! And even that has become a joke to play competitively online; with netcode increasingly catering more to shitty internet connections (by putting the good ones at the disadvantage). There is so much obsession with photorealistic graphics; gameplay and ultimately fun are no longer priority. Publishers nickel and diming us all has become so ramped. And there is simply no true ...
"Team Deathmatch mode announced"
I won't buy this game anymore if true. That is not what this game has been advertised to be about [just another, generic shooter]. And no one would then even bother with the "cover the environment with ink" modes. It would be the biggest mistake!
"“I can have a guess. I think the trends just changed, and when there’s a product with triple-A production values, all publishers and big developers just want to take the risk out of that because they’re spending so much money, so they go with whatever is popular,” suggests Price. “It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, because when they see lots of shooters and more mature games selling well, they become scared of doing anything else. Just because they stopped making them, doesn’t mean ...
It actually doesn't say that it's the last stretch goal specifically. But it does say "our next stretch goal" multiple times. So perhaps, it was only misinterpreted by the editor of this article. The "*additional funding also.." may have just been included due to it's unexpected success and concern of kickstarter bloat.
But I do hope there is physical release for all the consoles as well! :)
Well, considering Rare is not what it used to be, no one should get too excited about it. The ex-Rare devs creating Yooka-Laylee probably have all the talent.
Publishers really do need to take note; Not all gamers want generic, photorealistic shooters grounded in reality! There is still a huge market for platformers and all sorts of other genres! And you would reduce budgets dramatically from not needing 100's of artists!
That won't stop it from lacking content and value at launch; only increasing the need for expensive DLC post release!
Be careful not to get way overhyped; so far, while pretty, the game is looking very thin on content and real substance. You have been warned. It reminds me a lot of games released last year that were only a disappointment.
Thank goodness; so tired of all these shooters over saturating the market!
Why do so many people continue to show it's okay to nickel and dime consumers, by paying hundreds to unlock the same amount of content as a sixty dollar game, through costly microtransactions, that is already on these game disks.
All you stupid people out there seriously need to quit buying these games! You are saying it's okay to nickel and dime consumers by paying to unlock content (through costly microtransactions) that is already on these game disks. You are saying you enjoy spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a normally sixty dollar game! Please, just stop!
There are so many reasons not to buy digital games; a tiny bit of convenience is not worth it!
So a ton more left then PS4 without Uncharted 4!
Why again, do so many people continue to buy the PS4 over an Xbox One or Wii U?
PS4 and XBO really are the consoles HD remakes, cross generational titles (developed for last gen), and the rare new game which doesn't even scream next gen. So glad I bought a Wii U instead!
Can't wait to play this game! So tired of all the generic, colorless, photorealistic shooters oversaturating the market!
