Don't be surprised if the first Titanfall game comes to PS4 as well, despite any current lifetime exclusivity deal.
If they don't provide more trade-in value and sell used games for less then Used Game Stores, it's still won't be worth it. And it'll continue to best to just use Craigslist to buy and sell used games.

But if the PlayStation 4 was not selling this well, they almost certainly would not have raised the price. And it generally just looks bad for them. And when the dollar reached par with the American dollar, it took years for prices to come down. And, we already pay %30+ for most things, such as groceries.

This has all been done on dedicated servers for years; nothing new or different. And most things suggested, such as rendering graphics, is technically impossible due to bandwidth and latency. Even if it were possible, the cost would be passed onto consumers.

If the multiplayer continues to have one weapon that dominates everything, at every range (BR/DRM), and netcode that caters to shitty internet connections, the game will be a failure.

This game is definitely over hyped if you ask me; worthless AI grunts so easy to kill, titan's that aren't very powerful/die fast despite being on a timer, weapon's have little to no recoil or sway, etc. Sounds like it won't be fun very long.
Do gamers really want another Gears of War title after the first game's very fundamentals were destroyed throughout the series? It had become far less dark and scary, and more bright and colorful throughout it's course. And the multiplayer suffered by choosing to heavily cater to shotguns; removing variety, fun, and balance. While also using the netcode to cater to bad internet, giving those with it (such as players in mexico) a huge advantage.

It's quite interesting he only mentioned when Titanfall was signed to be a timed exclusive, and not the more recent deal to keep it a lifetime exclusive to Microsoft platforms. Maybe the actual deal was to just to pretend it had become a lifetime exclusive? And we know, there's even talk now about it coming to Mac! It would simply cost Microsoft a fortune to keep it exclusive with how well the PS4 is selling, and EA is just too greedy.
The battle won't just be about resolution and framerate, but also the anti-aliasing used. So that means even if they raise the resolution, they'll probably have to sacrifice anti-aliasing on the Xbox One.
And it's quite laughable how they attempt to make the ESRAM sound like a good thing, when it's purpose is only to compensate the lack of faster GDDR5, and it removed over 50% of the GPU power. Fact.
