I have to agree with Lelldorianx regarding that this evidence is not strong enough to be classed as "proof video games don't cause violence". You have a lot of correlational evidence that violence is associated with a number of different factors however cause and effect cannot be assigned with a correlation. What you've presented in this paper is evidence that a person's tendandcy towards violence is complicated and should not be attributed to any single factor (such as ...
I reckon The Last of Us will be this year. Naughty Dog split the developlent team into two after UC2 so they have the resources. TLoU will be this year then UC4 next year, this way they avoid releasing them in the same year.
Very well written article. I'm personally very happy with my PS3. Gaming was losing its luster for me during the last gen but luckily Sony pushed its developers to make games for adults. I'm now more engrossed in this hobby then I've ever been.
Me neither! We have the N7 collector's edition here in Australia also which I'm glad I pre-ordered. Does it differ from the UK one?

Don't worry too much, retail here is suffering because most people have realised it's a lot cheaper to buy online from NA and get stuff shipped here. They can't sustain they're exauberant prices for too much longer.
I'm in your boat. Snow irritates me that much that I have trouble playing FFXIII.
Product knowledge in most sectors of retail is severely lacking in Australia. Sometimes I have to stop myself from butting in when I hear a salesperson talking none sense and giving bad advice. I do tend to spend sometime online researching before i head out to the shops for a purchase but still it's frustrating when I as the customer tend to know more about the products then the person in store who is meant to help me.
3D gaming is awesome :).
He's right in my case, there are only usually a handful of titles each year that I'll pay full price for. The rest I just don't feel are worth it so I add the one I want to my bargain bin list and wait till the price is right.
All I can say is OMG, hope he falls very hard.
Was the author drunk or 8 years old?
I don't think digital will ever be the only option. It's not like iTunes killed CDs, they still make them and you can still buy them.
What do you guys in the US and UK consider fast broadband? I pull about 16 Mbps (2 MBps) which is average for Australian cities, would this be too slow?
Now I see why everything seems so much cheaper in America. You pay $60 for games where we pay $80-$100 in Australia. Our salaries tend to be higher though so I guess it all balances out.
That was good, I enjoyed it :).
Good answers to poor questions. This game is shaping up well, can't wait.
Or ten ways to keep your girl busy while you game.
Very interested to see the outcome of this case. I am a fan of Sony products however I do not agree with their current terms of service. I they get away with this what will they (and Microsoft) put in their TOS next?
When this happens it sure is. Personnaly the only game that has been refused that I'm frustrated about is Mortal Kombat. I can't actaully think of any other games that didn't get classified.
What most commonly happens is games that are classified R18+ in the rest of the world get through with an M15+ rating here.
Saints Row 3 M15+ Australia, M17+ ESRB, R18+ BBFC.
MW3 M15+ Australia, M17+ ESRB, R18+ BBFC.
Dead Space 2 M15+ Australi...
I've always regretted not completi g FFX, now I'll have a chance too which pleases me.
