he brought to TPS to the forefront of most games with Gears. But I only bought my xbox for Gears of war 3. I'm seriously disappointed with the fact that they promoted dedicated servers on the box, only not to have them after 3 months of shipping the game. I don't plan on buying anything from Epic for quite some time now.

is and has always been a joke of a site. People try to give them a pass by saying: "they are just giving us estimates, and there no other sites giving them to us weekly"
Just because these are estimates doesn't change the fact that they are pulling these numbers out of their (bleep)s. I've already thoroughly explained why shipped vs sold to consumer is irrelevant. Sony ended in a second this generation. Microsoft put up a nice fight.

No I meant Killzone 2 was first FPS to really focus on the gun detail making them as big as they are. The size of the gun actually took up more space on the screen than in other FPS.

Show me a PC running Crysis3 @60fps @2560x1600.
Also Killzone 2 is the reason Crysis and every other FPS guns are as big as they are today.

@Dylia, there is no way you're running Crysis3 @ Ultra with a $300.00 card. Not if you're expecting the "PC fav" 60fps.
@Autodidactdystopia, Crysis3 isn't complete sandbox like the origianl Crysis. It's more of a mixture between Crysis and Linear Crysis2.

Killzone: SF(alpha code) clearly can be put of there with Crysis3(retail code). Killzone is not there yet but given the talent that Guerilla has, I'm sure this is only a tip of the iceb...

"ALPHA CODE"

4861d ago 4 agree1 disagreeView comment

I think you're making the point for everyone when you said "..PC is CAPABLE of". You guys on PC are literally comparing locked in hardware to open ended hardware. Mentioning GFX titan and latest CPU from AMD/Intel. Point is that even PC developers are starting to invest in consoles proves which one is best. Just ask the PCheads pissed @ the Diablo3 announcement. It's true that PC "CAPABILITIES" far outway consoles, but the price to performance isn't there. GFX ...

are missing is that these demo only used 4gb of DDR5 and not the 8 that Sony shocked everyone with. This was also a different demo then the one we're used to seeing. If I were Sony, this would be a compliment. People are comparing un-finalized hardware to PC.

and this is only alpha code.

You can easily put Killzone:SF(alpha code) next to Crysis3(final code). Here's what PC gamers don't understand, developer can't make games for PC like they can consoles. Not every PC gamer has the same CPU, RAM, Graphics card, Cooling (water/air), and etc. So developers have to find a common low denominator to get the game up and running and move from there. You will not see a PC look better than next gen until their lowest common denominator is at the same level as consoles. Unti...

EU region has dozens on top of dozens of different languages, currencies, laws, and etc to try an accommodate for. It's understandable why it require a little more time than a country/region that speaks mostly japanese or english. But it's the exact opposite in the television/smartphone realm. EU usually get releases first when it comes to those markets. Come one man, you can't have it all.

like Burger King and Xbox360. "Microsoft's reach goes farther and their voice is louder" I guess until it hits American coastlines. Exclusives are going to decide any generation. I also have a feeling Microsoft is going to be coming out of pocket to purchase an exclusive trilogy. They did it with Bungie (Halo) Epic(Gears). Sony showed tons of exclusives and they didn't even bring out Naughty Dog or Santa Monica yet. PS4 will definitely be your next purchase if you're abo...

was just wetting people's appetites. I don't think there is a serious person who expected Sony to show their full hand prior to E3. They showed some early alpha builds (using only 4gb of DDR5)and some the OS. Sure, there were plenty of things the "could have" done, but they didn't need to. They reassured gamers that PS4 would still be about the games.

to be noted. that all the demo on the ps4 weren't running using the new 8gbs or DDR5. These demos were running off of outdated ps4 devkits.

They took their criticism to heart. They actually went to developers and ask them what they wanted in the next PlayStation. Killzone Shadow Fall was made under the impression that the ps4 still only had 4 gigabytes of DDR5. I would easily places it up there with crysis 3 and it was only alpha code. There is no piece of hardware that is absolutely perfect. Finding fault with something that hasn't even launched yet is a little idiotic.

this in a previous article. PC developers eventually head to consoles. there is just way more money to be had. PC games tend to cost around 30-40 bucks. If you come over to consoles, games are costing 60 bucks with a fraction of piracy that pc has.

OT: The Watch Dogs demo may have been running on a PC, but it was a ps4 devkit

Stick to the PC market and let's see how long your studios stay open. Most games only work under Windows OS which bottlenecks all that raw power. It doesn't allow low-level GPU access, so even though there's all that power there, devs can't fully utilize it. Another thing is piracy. Its is really bad on PC, that's why developer opt out of making a PC version. With some graphics cards costing around 1k, why buy them when most major publishers hardly support it?

bought out and OnLive went bankrupt. Until we get Google Fiber in everyone's home, this kind of reality won't be coming true for quite some time. I also don't like the fact that it REQUIRES an internet connection and most people in rural areas lack internet. So LogicWins idea is a complete bust on all fronts because there are far too many requirements to make it a reality. Now something like this could work with a PSVita with LTE. Because of the resolution of the screen, you would...
