because it's not like people could just pair the bluetooth headset they already owned to ps3 or anything DAY 1. Also they already said that they'd would be launching ps4 with a standard headset. Kinda obvious when there is a jack at the bottom of the controller.
Have you ever thought maybe they just didn't want to talk to you? Or anyone else for that matter?
is a given and hardly news worthy. But the Vita's sales have picked up. My Wii U has just been sitting here. My son would rather play ps3 or xbox360 than the Wii U. Nintendo bring on the games!!!!!
can agree that JRPG's aren't what they used to be (at least final fantasy). But I respect your decision. I will be buying ps4 day one. Hopefully Sony sony will have a day one gem like stardust HD in the PSN store. I still do hope to see come compelling launch titles outside of shooters. Naughty Dog, Insomniac Games, and ect have yet to show what they've been working on.
quite nicely. I think only when we experience all these great things, do we really become immersed in the game. It can be any form of media. This is why Flower, Journey, and even Heavy Rain capture a wider audience than just your average gamer.
I think David was only referring being able to give a character a more convincing performance. "Eyes are the windows to the soul". Being able to read a person just by the look they have in their eyes is what he's talking....
I absolutely love flower. The soundtrack meshed so well with the gameplay. Definitely an emotion driven game.
Debunking your argument in the order you presented it in.
1st: You're claim that console optimization doesn't show a world of difference. Once again you're comparing a locked in console to "best case" PC hardware. Titan will only shine on a 2500x1600 monitor or 4k television which your average pc gamer doesn't own. PC will just have better frame rates at higher resolutions. But,as you say, it won't be a world of difference.
2nd: PS3 is only 6 year...
just an unvieling of a console. "I'm not into core gaming anymore....". Yet you have time to comment on a console that focuses on core gaming. Stick to your little touch screen control on your "my parents bought me" Iphone.
Or did they say they'd be offering it via Gaikai? If you think Sony showed their full hand at Playstation Meeeting then you're mistaken. E3 will be more focused on the online/social aspect of the ps4 ranging from the share button all the way to Gaikai. Hardware isn't the problem with PC, it's the OS bottle-necking and lack of optimization. People hardly go build PC's for a single game unlike people who will buy a console for an exclusive.
Xbox360 Cpu and GPU aren't resting on the same die. Their only similarity lies in the fact that they both have "PC-like" architecture. XBox360 nor ps3 CPU and GPU could access the pool of RAM as a whole.
heard of early adopters? Around launch window, companies go to the base or die-hards if you will. People like me and others who save up to afford it. I only need to look at the original 60gig ps3 to see that there are advantages to being an early adopter.
Xboxs aren't even manufactured in America. Neither are Iphones. Also the author of the article failed to mention that the 70 million wikipedia source has "as of September 30th, 2012" next to it. He used Sony numbers from September 2012 and Microsoft's numbers from late January 2013. I'm sure Sony will bring up the numbers at this year's E3. Sony will win because of their 1st and 2nd party studios. This is what drove the ps3's success. Anything on top of that is j...
that much about BC then just keep your ps3. Guess what? You won't even require an internet connection to play them.
First factor
PC elitist compare the locked in hardware of the ps4 to the absolute best hardware on the market for PC in terms of performance. Two years past and those same elitist compare the same locked-in, ps4 hardware to the best PC has to offer that year. They're always comparing a constant to the best case variable at the time.
Second factor
PC is still considered an afterthought when it comes mass market games. You're spending $200-$300 more ...
PC are irrelevant when new consoles launch. As time goes on PC does indeed show it's versatility. But this is only if you're willing to drop the cash on a new card. The card will probably end up costing more than what you paid for your console.
a really good read. If they keep articles like this coming, I might start back visiting the site.
It had one thing that no other game had in mulitplayer at the time. People complained about the weighted feeling but I didn't mind at all. It seems to me alot of people preferred it over Killzone 3. In KZ2 multiplayer you could one shot in the head with a single bullet from your pistol. It made to were even if you had an overpowered weapon, a skilled player could still take you out with just a pistol and one bullet.
M4 one shot

is the GPU and CPU added together, the APU will be using the RAM for system functions as well. There will also be less bottlenecking because of ps4's tight component integration.
but GribbleGrunger is correct. I'm thinking they are going to be really close. PS4 is going a have a slight lead in memory and GPU Clock speed. What it's going to come down to, is software people. This is where Sony shines. Sony 1st and 2nd party share information. One studio takes an advancement another studio has made and improves on it.
But people need to be weary of Microsoft. They have shown that they can spot killer IPs. They usually try to lock the developers i...
Forza didn't run a 1080p. Forza only sold a fraction of what Gt5 sold.
On topic: I don't really think Microsoft is going to block used games. I think everyone recognizes the sort of backlash you get from it. I like Online Pass because it causes two things to happen. Gamestop either drop their prices for used games (only $5 difference), or people end up buying new. I usually buy new anyway so this doesn't affect me in the least.
Natsu would probably own a ps3 lol
