a multiplatform title being PUBLISHED by EA. Sony still owns rights to all Sony published titles such as Ratchet and Clank and Resistance. That Game Company is a branch closely related to Santa Monica Studios. They published Flower, Flow, and Journey (all exclusives).

90% of their titles have only been published on Sony's ps3.
games wasn't still a rumor? When was this verified? Was there an official press release? Huh, I could have sworn that was just a rumor like most things surrounding Next box at this moment. Xbox meeting on May 21st should clear everything up.
Let name some of the developers working with sony that we know of....
Santa MOnica Studio (2 teams)
Naughty Dog Studios (2 teams)
Insomniac Games
Quadratic Dreams
Sucker Punch
That Game Company
Polyphony Digital
Evolution Studios
Guerilla Games
Lightbox studios
Media Molecule
That are atleast about 13 exclusives we can look forward to seeing on PS4.
you can go to youtube right now and find full playthroughs of almost all new release from any publisher. I don't see why that would all of a sudden become a big deal now.

part of full playthrough of Gears of War Judgement
for PCs, but if you solely making your PC for gaming then this definitely is the future. Really great read. I hope every PC head, give this article a thorough read. Remember though, look at this only from a gaming perspective and tell me the benefits aren't huge. Only problem is that it would be locked in.
"Third party exclusives have helped the 360 a lot this gen so Sony should worry."
Even with all that help, Microsoft has still been outsold by Sony worldwide. While still remaining the most expensive out of the 3 consoles. Also PS3 has quality over quantity.
Uncharted 2 recieved game of the year 2009
Journey received game of the year 2012
God of war 3 received best graphics in 2009

There isn't anyone putting Sony on a pedestal. People are simply pointing out that Sony edges out Microsoft in terms of exclusives. "Next Xbox Development Woes Could Spell Trouble for the PS4" is the title of the article. This piece was not meant to be a pro Sony piece.
hardly does exclusives. If this was a deal signed then I bet my bottom dollar that Microsoft is the publisher. There is no way EA's doing an exclusive especially when they have a chance to get more money. Name an exclusive EA has done in the past decade?
Microsoft has always been know to rope in a trilogy every gen. This did it with Bungie (Halo) Epic(Gear of War). So I'm not expecting anything different. But still Sony manage to completely outpace them in terms of exclusives.
So if Microsoft was to continue this same old tactic, then by all means let them. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Microsoft feel like their gaming on xbox infinity in the back seat.

are all coming from the indie community and Sony recognizes this. They also no that devs aren't happy while Microsoft about getting their games on XBL. That why we're seeing a shift of indie over to Sony's camp. This will force Microsoft to re-evaluate their policies concerning XBL. Either way, it's a win win for us gamers.
10 reasons:
10:Wii U floudering (It just means the number one spot is up for grabs
9:Microsoft's track record (Microsoft though this gen and the previous has been outsold by Sony)
8: Cheaper (now prices have been anounced)
7: Superior Online (This is debatable I have a LIVE sub and I can honestly say there is no difference. There aren't even dedicated servers in most of their exlcusives)
6: Good thing...
I was so disappointed with Killzone3's COD controls direction. I mean, of course, I still bought it. But Killzone 2 was so freaking dynamic with it's on-the-fly spawning and objective changes. I think they need to bring back the dynamic spawning of the Tactician. Also the one-shot headshots. Guerrilla please bring back Killzone 2 style multiplayer with Killzone the melee/mech/turrets.
You clearly showing a lack of understanding of my comment. You actually say it yourself. RSX was indeed based off of the 7800. Meaning the 7800 was used as the foundation and tweaks were then made to it. But at it's core, it's still the Geforce 7800, just was modified version of it. I never said that the RSX was "just" a 7800.
You also haven't read any of my previous comments in this article or you would see that I already mentioned that CELL was a CPU p...
I agree with your last statement.
"Hardware is hardware, it does nothing useful whatsoever until software designers get their hands on it."
This statement is very true. This is also the reason why the PC crowd shouldn't boast all the numbers about FPS and resolution. At the end of the day you're still running games who's native resolution is only 720p (current gen games).
Now about that 3gb of GDDR5 being comomplace, tho...
It was extremely expensive to make. Sony/IBM/Toshiba thought it would be used for more applications outside of the gaming industry. That wasn't the case. You clearly missed the point I was making in that it aided the RSX in rendering simple object. Also the smallest they were able to get CELL was 45nm. That means the GPU would need to be separate, leading to some of these bottlenecks you keep hearing about. At the end of the day it would just be cheaper to have an APU.
RSX inside ps3 was based off of Geforce 7800
really need to take away from this article:
"Cerny also says that real world code will be distributed later. “If somebody has written something interesting and is willing to post the source for it, to make it available to the other PlayStation developers, then that has the highest value,” he says."
Community driven hardware and coding. While they're finding ways to optimize ps4 on their end. If a developer figures out something and wants to shar...
agree with you here. It won't be the because of this (Durango uses APU also), but Sony's internal studios. Remember on the ps3, whenever one studio made an advancement it would be shared. As a result, Sony's exclusives started to shine above multiplats. Communication between these studios allowed CELL programming to be much more streamlined. Allowing CELL to essentially be used as a secondary GPU rendering simple models.

That would be ill advised and not very logical to have 8bg of system ram and 4gb of graphical ram. It would guarantee that Nextbox will be more expensive than PS4. Also a console OS doesn't need more than 1-2gb of RAM. Anything over that would go unused for the most part causing an unnecessary bottleneck. I say "slightly" because in the beginning of the nextgen, devs just want to get games out. So initially the specs wont come into play until mid gen or exclusives.
series reminds me of Madden. It only adds minor enhancements (if they can be called that) over each installment and charges you $60. Not to mention that it could is something that could have easily just been patched into the current game (like GT5). Battlefield hasn't changed much either but it offers more ways to play and on a larger scale. You can be horrible at shooting but an awesome pilot of a tank, jet, or chopper. Battlefield also forces team play unlike COD. The last COD I bought ...
