@TheCommentator:
The less powerful system will always be less powerful, it's a fact based on the hardware in the platform.
PS4 has Partially Resident Textures, which enables developers to use 32TBs worth of textures, which is far superior to eSRAM in XBox One and what it's GPU is capable of because of a lack of sufficient bandwidth to main memory, which Xbox One lacks.
PS4 has already shown it can handle Voxel Cone Tracing, Q-Games ar...
I agree, I had hoped it was going to be a God of War style hack & slasher, but I'm cool with that.
It looks awesome from a graphical standpoint IMO!
Hopefully this means it will be definitely coming out this year.
PS4 has so many exclusive games coming this year, it's awesome!
@Dudebro90: My proof is maths, what I said about calibrating your screen and sitting at the right distance is fact, common sense my friend.
Spicelicka's comment was just wrong, because it goes against math and technical Visual truth as far as Display technology goes.
It's not a 180p difference, 1080p is 2,073,600 pixels, 900p is 1,440,000, so there's an extra 633,600 pixels in 1080p or 44% more pixels on screen.
The only people that can't tell the difference between a native and none native resolution are those watching on poorly calibrated screens or sitting at the wrong distance from their 1080p displays.
Most people can see the difference between 900p and 1080p.
I agree to some extent, but I would like to point out that Bloodborne is packing a substantial leap visually over what Metal Gear 5: Phantom Pain is handling, with more geometry from having to render a full city (buildings and all of the brick work in use), added particle effects, what seems like some higher resolution textures, chromatic effects, some advanced AI and more numerous enemies, with more details than the NPCs MGS5 has.
Visually Metal Gear isn't really compara...
You may be wrong about Naughty Dog not handling it, Arne Mayer said this 8 months ago:

“It would be a good time for us to leverage all the attention behind it and make it look better. It would be really cool to have. Shuhei really likes the Uncharted series quite a bit, and I...
Doesn't just look like the lighting's been improved, it looks like everything to do with the visuals has been improved.
So true, FH2 sounds highly compressed, whereas Driveclub sounds like the actual car, it's so realistic, full quality audio.
@Software_Lover: I'm talking about games you have to pay for, not F2P or browser games.
Adding up the value of the games on PS+, just for a month and a bit often equals the price it costs per year, that's just the PS4 games, if you have PS3 & Vita then it's even better value.
Don't bark orders, I'm talking nothing but truth, but you're probably one of those people that doesn't like the truth coming out because it messes with your agenda...
A PC with similar specs to PS4 costs more in energy bills to run per year and PS+ gives you access to over 24 games a year, so for that money every year you have access to games that would cost you more money to buy on PC.
As PS3 and Vita have shown, their instant game collections have included a fair few AAA, retail games, so it's a great service.
PS+ isn't just multiplayer, it's a game collection that continues growing every year, that is well w...
Yep, plus it doesn't include an OS (which isn't free in a new build, costs over £70 in the UK), in order to match PS4 you need a bluray drive (that's about £38, rather than £10 for a DVD drive).
Best case scenario for matching PS4 you need to spend well over £400, probably closer to £450.
PS4 can be bought for £349 with a game.
Before anyone says that age old line of "games cost less on PC",...
MK looks good, but it doesn't touch Street Fighter 5, but then again MK was a completely different kind of fighter.
So do I.
The added dimensionality of the environments and how Frozenbyte are handling them in Trine 3 looks very appealing too me.
The graphics look absolutely gorgeous too!
As much as I love that series SF is the great grand daddy of the fighting genre!
This game is so much fun, great addition to the Instant Game Collection!
It's absolutely laughable to think that there couldn't be anything in the way of a Sony owned IP that Worldwide Studios has been working on for enough to time to release it this holiday.
Guerrilla Games has been releasing something every 2 years since KZ2 came out, they probably have a new Killzone to release or their new IP could very well be ready this holiday (Horizon has been in development for over 3 and a half years).
God of War has been in deve...
Ratchet & Clank's probably be pushed back to the fall.
Guerrilla probably has a new Killzone ready (Since they've been releasing one every 2 years since KZ2 came out), likely a PS4 version of Mercenary since so many gamers have been asking for it!
I wouldn't be shocked if The Last Guardian was ready this holiday as well.
There's plenty of games that could fill that quarterly slot, even Sony Bend's new IP could be ready...
Of course it can happen and it probably will.
As time goes on developers learn how to produce better results with less processing power, mainly because their previous techniques were very inefficient compared to what they can do at the time their game goes gold.
The results that the old technique produced look great, but the new one is more efficient and produces better results.
There's also the fact that some developers can try to do too much at ...
If the cloud takes over the console space then it's taking over the PC space too.
You think that if the cloud could potentially become reliable enough to provide for all of your processing needs that you'll even need a PC?
No my friend the little box or any mobile device you have, connected to the internet will do everything that both your PC and a console does, but the issues of latency will always be there while we're using broadband and until w...
