Goes surprisingly fast after the second giant.
Game was okay, but if you want a walking simulator with a better story I'd recommend Indika.
Dunno what the dlc costs, but the deluxe edition upgrade is cheap right now and includes both dlc's.
Probably not that big of a loss saleswise, so no reason to take up the argument with sony. Switch is more of a nobrainer considering it's a family friendly title.
Still have some time leftover on GP after playing Hellblade 2. So if it gets here in time, I'll plow through Still Wakes The Deep.
Unpopular opinion it seems. But yeah, Forza Motorsport was the worst game in the series since Forza Motorsport 5. Huge letdown. Did they ever rework it? absolutely hated the campaign progression and the rpg systems relating to upgrading cars. Ended up just going back to 6 and 7 instead, those two also had a LOT more stages.
Atleast I think they've pivoted back to singleplayer stuff. But it will take a while. I think they will announce some big game next year, like Ghost Of Tsushima 2 or something. Notice how they showed us Concord and Astro Bot a few months before release. I think the time of knowing what's on the horizon is over.
Though, do note that since summer last year, more and more games have been current gen only. Lots of smaller titles, but of bigger stuff there's Baldurs Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, Rise of the Ronin, Dragons Dogma 2, FFRebirth and so on. Being on ps4 only, means you will be missing out on a lot of releases both major and minor.
MS owns the developer, if only they wanted to bother with the license, could be a nice addition to Series X BC program. These titles and Arx Fatalis.
Maybe this is a rare case where a square game skips ps, like Octopath Traveller 1. That for some reason arrived on xbox but not ps.
Shadow Drop Avowed, so they can force Obsidian to become part of the Bethesda rpg factory. Pretty sure that's the new plan going forward, to focus on high impact titles.
Can't wait to play it, but was a little bummed out when it turned out to be early access. I know there's an excessive amount of content, but would prefer to play it when it's finished. But will probably be a while
It's good, The Quarry is worth a look while you wait.
I'm sure that it will have solid tech and gameplay. It's bound to with that team.
The first screenshot of Concord looked enticing, but the games nasty Marvel aesthetic is a huge turnoff. And no spaceships? Why did they tease it with a spaceship?
But I could imagine it being popular, looks like something that could be popular. Looks obnoxious.
Problem with Gamepass lack of growth is that they might be potentially be scraping the barrel for what's possible without a larger installbase. It will be interesting to see the effects. I can't imagine it will make people buy xboxes in droves. I guess they need Cod to make an impact on GP growth, what happens if that fails? Cause the it will without a doubt just lead to lower Cod numbers and less money earned.
I imagine the art style will stay the same. But there'll probably be some visual upgrades here and there.
Probably not even that big of a difference. Coalition might only have helped because they got a deadline to meet.
Unreal isn't nearly as bad as Unity when you update a project. Though it obviously depends on the project. But unity generally gets an aneyurism if you threaten to update, where Ue is usually less stingy.
Was unaware that Verdict Day was rare, glad I still own my copy. Game is very good.
E3 style presentations doesn't make a lot of sense in a world where most publishers wait with reveals until 6 months before release. It made more sense when you were trying to hype up the next year of video games. Publishers don't do that anymore. We don't know much about 2025 and have only recently started to learn about the latter half of 2024.
