But Squadron is pretty close to being finished? Star Citizen isn't, but atleast it's very much playable and available to fuck around in.
Tbf, it is also an absurdly ambitious project. Star Citizen in itself is absurd. But what they are doing with Squadron also seems to be a lot more than what you would get in a regular AAA game. You have fully realized space flight and fps combat in the same game.
Could potentially be super janky and bad in a myriad of ways, but I fail to see how the scope of what they have shown us isn't impressive. I used to be sceptical, but I also really want to play something like ...
@Cockney
Sort of, but they appear to be shopping it around for a new home.
Controversial opinion: game looks good.
Didn't see the last big gameplay reveal of Squadron 42? Looks awesome and since it's feature complete a release late 2025 doesn't seem too unrealistic.
If this hadn't been revealed prematurely, people would have lost their minds.
If not this, then it is atleast apparent that they view Series S and X as a lost cause. They have said that they work on a new machine, so they'll probably market that.
Atleast I think Heat was on essential, and that's a better game than Unbound imo. Very similar games, just think the overall gamedesign makes more sense in Heat.
Why expect historical accuracy? It's fiction, like every other Assassins Creed game.
The funny thing about all this is that the game actually looks pretty good for once. Looks very anti Valhalla. Might end up being bloated and ruined by level limited stealth kills and all that, but for now it looks promising.
The truth is that both Gamepass and PS Premium are currently pretty nice services.
Was thinking about the game recently, been wanting to retry it, so I'm pretty excited. Though I remember liking the sequel more.
Also very interested in Jeanne D'arc.
Wonder if there'll be new events as well?
Problem is that Series X with standard settings is unable to start any game if you haven't logged in. But can be remedied kn settings, i think.
Sounds like it was overall a goof decision. Nothing wrong with some blasphemy.
@VariantAEC
Exactly. it's like why can't these new releases do the same as an emulator developed for 20 years?
Sometimes people forget that these emulators have been under development for ages by several people. while sony is probably just paying 1-2 guys to do the same thing in a fairly short amount of time on a limited budget. They should put more in it, but if they atleast can achieve accuracy, that's a start.
I restarted the game two weeks ago and completed a lot of stuff. collected runes, upgraded weapon, summons and estus. And reached level 109 then beat Mohg and now I feel ready.
I don't think most see 10/10 as perfection. It just means the reviewer loved it, that they found it special. Doesn't mean it can't have flaws.
After three hours I love it, it's great to explore new Elden Ring areas. It is more of the same, but I wanted that.
People being enthusiastic about things, how dare they.
Dont't forget: "driving \ walking \ riding to destination while people talk."
I expect the usual extremely linear rockstar mission design. It will be expensive and impressive, but exactly the same as every other game they've made.
