Sounds like it was overall a goof decision. Nothing wrong with some blasphemy.
@VariantAEC
Exactly. it's like why can't these new releases do the same as an emulator developed for 20 years?
Sometimes people forget that these emulators have been under development for ages by several people. while sony is probably just paying 1-2 guys to do the same thing in a fairly short amount of time on a limited budget. They should put more in it, but if they atleast can achieve accuracy, that's a start.
I restarted the game two weeks ago and completed a lot of stuff. collected runes, upgraded weapon, summons and estus. And reached level 109 then beat Mohg and now I feel ready.
I don't think most see 10/10 as perfection. It just means the reviewer loved it, that they found it special. Doesn't mean it can't have flaws.
After three hours I love it, it's great to explore new Elden Ring areas. It is more of the same, but I wanted that.
People being enthusiastic about things, how dare they.
@Michiel1989
Capcom raised wages across the board recently.
They showed a new zelda game with innovative gameplay? Nintendos current output is high tier.
But why buy them when you can just temporarily subscribe to gamepass. I haven't bought an xbox game in 2 years. Will buy Stalker 2 though.
I don't think Senua 2 had been the same without MS backing. Maybe same storu but probably not the same budget. But director and writer of the first game left before they started, so story might have been better.
The demo sucked, full game was a lot better.
It's a shame, ai think while the game had some issues it was a pretty decent game overall. I would have loved a sequel by the same team, they could have learned from their mistakes and delivered something really cool I think.
My main issue with the game is that combat can be a bit janky, and I wish it had been a little more like Resident Evil. It's very fragmented, mainly puzzles in the mansion and combat in the other dimensions. Would have liked to have had it more...
Ah, yeah then it doesn't say a lot.
Technically I could see it outselling Doom, just because it has broader appeal. But doubt the IP holds as much weight as a Nintendo platformer.
But I hope it will do excedingly well, Sony needs that message.
If this is all platforms combined, then it's kinda impressive.
I really just want a third Pillars of Eternity game. Not impossible under ms, but seems more and more unlikely with MS's new focus on high impact titles.
We saw some hacking, stealth, combat and such, that's where the vibe came from. Seems like you might get a wide variety of options for dealing with the levels. That's why people think of Deus Ex. It
Did seem like it had potential imsim elements. Probably less rpg stuff than deus ex I'd wager.
They were faltering in the last year or two of the 360 era. Don't forget that they doubled down on Kinect, which might be part of the reason why they didn't have much to show going into Xbox One.
Problem is that Series X with standard settings is unable to start any game if you haven't logged in. But can be remedied kn settings, i think.
