It looks good, but 2026? Really?
@IAMRealHooman
I think it was Todd Howard himself that at one point claimed that Starfield would have more oldschool rpg character elements.
I think it will have more in common with Starfield, than people hope. I have this feeling that they will do something where the world is massive and you commandeer a ship or something. And it's like fantasy Starfield with lots of random generated nonsense.
Probably better and different in a lot of ways. But still fragmented and packed with filler.
Not to be a doomer, but they themselves view Starfield as a great title. And they seem to want to go big...
I dunno, most people seem to be using ancient hardware.
There's also a couple of other factors. SH2 has gained a reputation throughout the years and maybe even more importantly the upcoming movie is based on 2.
The movie will suck, that's a given, but this whole Silent Hill revival supposedly started because the director approached Konami with ideas for a movie based on 2. It kinda makes sense to then do a remake as well. Atleast I think that was part of the idea.
Wasn't the Prince of Persia game very well regarded?
The metroidvania earlier in the year.
Also Horizon remaster and Horizon lego, soon.
And black myth wukong for 3rd party.
Just want to note that I haven't paid a dime. But if they release this and it's half as good as it looks, then obviously I'm gonna play it.
Imagine that video, but without any prior knowledge of the games history.
Might be a scam, but looks fun: https://youtu.be/hNAnPnYG80...
Pretty sure Neonkoi is using UE5, but they might be doing a mobile game. Not really sure what their deal is.
I hope they have a release window ready and I hope it's good. After that showcase last year I was intrigued. Looked impressive and the genre interests me a lot. I hope it comes together, atleast seems more realistic and promising than Star Citizen.
It's my gateway to pc gaming. Got it docked under the tv, a lot more convenient than moving my laptop around.
Also use it on the go fairly frequently, and play games that require mouse in ways an analouge stick can't handle, with the touch padsbin haneheld. Mostly play indies and retro stuff, have the consoles for AAA stuff.
Crash 4?
At this point I hope they turn the game uber gay, just so you pricks are as miserable as possible.
Forspoken actually had pretty good combat, it's just that they ended up creating a very weird and underwhelming game around it. Feels like they had no idea what to do with the world in this game.
From my experience early in the game, performance runs worse as it has more frequent drops than quality mode. Atleast in the forest area. Quality seem to be more or less stable.
@Amplitude
The only reason for this, that I can think of, is for them to train a team in a safe enviroment before doing a sequel. If this team don't do a sequel, all this is highly confusing. They probably want to turn this into a full fledged sony ip.
It seems like Nixxes made the remake of Horizon. Maybe they don't have the manpower to do a game on their own? They are a pc porting studio afterall.
@LordoftheCritics
Yeah, I did some reading and sounds jank as fuck, and also seems to have a lot of features that don't really connect.
I think it's a full release in 2026, so if reviews turn out good it couldn't hurt to try it out. Star Citizen is the scam.
They probably should have just done Squadron and not the ever expanding mmo.
