If they start now, we can have it as early as in 2031!
Sbi situation wasn't a thing when it released. It's just a weird game and therefore a hard sell. Being boycut by people who dislike the fact that there's a black person in it, is probably not a huge factor. Sane people don't give a shit.
@rlow1
Except in this case it probably wasn't sony. I doubt they care, considering some of the stuff they are ok with in this game and others.
They made an extremely minor change and snowflakes got offended. Probably because reviews were good, gotta keep the grift going.
The world is divided into two factions. Those who want 25% visibility of butt crack and those who fight for 26% visibility.
They have become the blue haired feminists that they themselves despised so much. The phantom menace.
They selectively censored things. Almost as if it was done by some art director for different reasons and not by censorship.
Complaining about extremely minor changes to a game where there's hyper violence and a skin suit, while yelling censorship is pure stupidity.
But Grummz is an idiot, so it fits.
Personally I think it's hilarious that the idiot brigade now has to boycut a good game that they previously championed. More of this!
They added 1 miligram of fabric and the skinsuit is still there. But yeah, this is a crisis!
Did you know that all character could have been naked, but the artists self censored themselves. Highly unethical and anti-gamer.
Supposedly they mildly altered atleast a handful.
But tbh, this is very funny. Game was proclaimed to be the savior of gaming by whiny idiots, now they are crying because of the smallest of changes.
A bit early to get excited. Haven't even seen any gameplay of TES and we are talking Fallout 5. Which probably releases around 2032 or something.
But would like to see one a bit further into the future where they might have gotten further on rebuilding the world. Still a Wasteland, but citites are more populated and living areas are less filled with ancient junk and skeletons. They cleaned up and moved forth. But maybe Cities are isolated because of the dangers and lawl...
The game being an accurate represantation of the original was not a slap in the face to the fans. The 3D remasters looked like ass (visually) tbh.
He didn't greenlight Red Fall. Zenimax did. He could have delayed or cancelled it, but didn't. But then again, they were probably pretty far into the development when he arrived at the scene.
Didn't Obsidian at some point state that they were more interested in Outer Worlds than returning to Fallout? And now Avowed is basically their Morrowind set in their own universe. I don't see them returning unless forced, which would probably lead to poor results.
Not gonna happen. Will probably be out 5-6 years after TesVI, which isn't coming anytime soon.
Even if they asked someone else to do a spin-off it would take atleast 5 years from now, if we assume they haven't begun allready. It's weird they didn't atleast attempt to have a game ready for the series launch.
TESVI was mostly announced to stop people from asking. Like how they gave us a roadmap of first Starfield, then TES then Fallout. So people keep asking whether they'll do another one or not.
But Fable and Perfect Dark was defineately too early.
@franwex
I'm not talking about Starfield.
And I'm not advocating for these behemoth productions. I think shorter development time and smaller teams would lead to better and more varied games. I want that, even if that means that we have to scale things down quite a bit.
Take something like The Last of Us 2. The amount of custom content is ridiculous if you break it down. It's no wonder they have huge teams of animators and modellers. ...
Costs quite a bit to maintain a team of 700+ employees. Which is what it takes to create something with state of the art fidelity and scope. Just imagine how many 3D artists you'd need to create the plethora of 3D objects in a AAA game. There's so much stuff and each asset takes time and effort.
That's atleast one of the things that didn't get easier. Also coding all the systems and creating all the character models with animations and everything. Animations...
Character seems cool. I think most gamers are just a little brain damaged from being online.
Yeah, not sure why they even bothered to have money and purchasable equipment you barely have any choices and it never amounts to more than super basic stat increases.
All the abilities and moves that are added also felt a bit inconsequential, gameplay never really changes in any meaningful way. It's fun, but the first 2 hours don't feel much different than 30 hours in.
I like it, but could have been so much more. Feels very shallow in the gamepla...
Tunic and Ghostrunner is a nice surprise
