I subscribe 2-3 months every year. Pop in when ms releases a big title and play a handful of stuff at the side. Then spend the money saved on Steam, psn and switch.
I wish they would rerelease Siren 2. It's crazy that they have one of the best horror games of all time, but only ever gave it a limited release. And for some reason they only ever acknowledge the much inferior first game.
But wasn't he responsible for the game divisions or something, before becoming CEO? Ryan is probably the one to blame though, he must have been responsible for the gaas pivot that has stalled things.
I doubt there will be anything notable from first party. They usually reveal shortly before release and I doubt they have anything before spring next year. So if they reveal something, it will probably be in februarys state of play. And more by summer.
Probably should have shown that trailer the year before. Instead of a 5 second teaser that revealed nothing.

Atleast just a year where you occasionally show off your game. Concord might never have succeeded, but had they shown it 2 years ago and learned that nobody wanted it, they could have attempted to do something.
Astrobot just needed some more time in the hype cycle, I could imagine that a lot of people barely heard of it before release. Seems to be doing ok, considering the smaller budge, but seems like it could have been more on release. Might be Son...
I have a feeling this modern sony strategy of almost shadow dropping big titles is making things harder for themselves. They barely showed us the game before releasing it, same (but worse) with Concord.
Really want to play under the waves and Chernobilyte is pretty cool. Not quite Stalker but still has something to offer
It would be a shitty follow up if it only contained those two. They need to include portable ops, twin snakes, babel and thr acid games as well. If they do that, we'll get a complete collection of Metal Gear titles on all modern platforms.
Looking at other Konami collections, this doesn't seem completely unreleastic tbh.
Media Molecule moved on, Sumo was hired for LBP 3 and sackboy and now it seems dead? Both statements seem true. Sony does indeed seem to have given up on lbp while MM did other stuff.

They revamped their entire online system. It wouldn't have been easy. There's also the issue that the Wiiu is weird and unpopular. Every port requires a lot of work.
They almost always do BC, when the physical format allows it. Switch is the first time they didn't do somehing since Gamecube. Probably because you can't fit a dvd into a switch.

Basic isn't bad. The game is a sum of it's parts. It all works well together and results in a decent 8/10 game.
It really can't. Metacritic is proof of this. But yeah sure, this game is the worst game ever released. It's the Gollum of 2024. Worse actually. It's ugly, buggier than Cyberpunk at release day and gameplay is completely broken. That's what 10 minutes on metacritic would tell you.

Some of it is just people offended by the main character. These days a game is either the best thing ever or the worst thing ever, there's no inbetween. Gaming culture has turned to complete shit tbh.
It has really nicely done enviroments and personally I enjoy the stealth gameplay. It's basic, but it works, atleast on hard mode. I also enjoy all the space stuff. Also like the general content, lots of fun stuff to do but without the game being cluttered like Valhalla.
My biggest complaint is the upgrade systems. There are stores where you can upgrade your ship and speeder, but you need all kinds of crafting stuff to buy anything. It gets a little confusing, I wish I ...

It's neither crappy nor a masterpiece. But it's pretty good.
Chronicles is also missing from these collections. Would be nice if they could consider doing something with these titles. Maybe just compile the rest into a collection. Rebirth, Chronicles, N64 titles, fighting game on wii and ps2 games.
Just a big box of assorted stuff. Could also cut it in 2. Just get it done.
Atleast Squadron 42 is releasing next year. I think SC is more of an early access type deal with almost unachievable ambition. Squadron is more manageable and is allegedly feature complete.
