I can't wait for someone within Remedy to give a postmortem on this game. The huge TV episode-length cutscenes with the gameplay in-between suggests two separate ambitious projects - a game and a TV series - that both became underfunded or rushed out, and therefore they were mashed together, probably within a six-month period of time in order to smooth out the transitions.
This is where metascores really fail, because it's not scoring a "meh," it's scori...
Yup. And this is why Metacritic really sucks, because 2 stars from GB is far different than a 4 out of 10.
Haha, this is pretty fitting, because Yorkshire is 1) awesome and 2) a strong, dark cup of tea. Maybe they can get a "Collector's Edition" Dark Souls Tea that's Yorkshire Gold.
It reviewed badly on WiiU, but if you kept with the reviewers that were also podcasters, quite a few came back to it as a good game after a while. It grew on them. Supposedly that gameplay doesn't translate that well as a port, but it should be worth checking out.
Sweet! Zombi is a game I've wanted to play since I first saw it on WiiU at launch, but I never got the chance. Dead Star sounds like a top-down Freespace (if that's even possible), so I'll check that out too.
And what's all this about indies? ZombiU was full retail.
Idunno man, people are thinking Snake Eyez may turn away from Gief lately. The current top tournament players aren't maining grapplers, although a couple throw out R. Mika as a wild card. At the top of the online heap is a Sim player, and even Sonicfox is in on it with Fang.
Grapplers might be godlike in the lower ranks, though. I'm a Birdie fan.
Nope, it's a funk re-do of Jazzy NYC '99! Which is awesome.
It's highly possible, as it's been in the past, that Japan's toning down this stuff because particular countries that aren't the US and don't even have the term "political correctness" in their vocabulary would object to it, and for FAR different reasons, including national religions and extreme cultural conservatism. This is a move toward PEGI and ESRB, not SJW Twitter and Tumblr. The dev cites CERO's (the Japanese ESRB) rating as to why they know they have ...
Alex is hitting today, along with his killer theme song, and this guy over here is staring very hard at a polygonal crotch instead. Priorities!
Well, it's now at the $300 mark, so that's something.
I bet this commercial is directly in response to the news coming out about an Xbox 1.1 or Xbox going the way of the iPad in quicker iterations, just about the same time that we got source confirmations on the PS4.5/4K rumors. Both of those stories read like "Hey, don't buy a console right now," so a lower price point might help a little.
It's all about cost, which is why we get good and awful games every month. Bad games that aren't going to sell can strike a really profitable deal for Sony. It's not like they bent over backwards for Aaru's Awakening. This is why PS+ games were great about a year after it started up on PS3 - those titles were largely old, so it was easy enough to make a deal. PS4 isn't quite that old yet.
I'm really not sure why they haven't just made their first-p...
Cheers man! I don't know why I keep crawling back to N4G, but somehow it happens! :P
Man, DoA 3 and 4 were great, too.
I've stuck with SFV because the mechanics are just too dang good to pass up, and I can't wait for this patch, if only for the challenges, which should have been the *actual* tutorials out of the gate. I mean, watching YouTube is alright and all, but I'd like to learn B&B combos in-game if possible. Also, for the first time ever I'm excited to grab some costumes. This is weird, usually I laugh at that stuff, but once you really choose a main and some secondary picks you wan...
As a fan of their original volleyball game, this just looks a cheap and boring minigame collection in every review and preview out there. What's left of Team Ninja should think about that time they made Ninja Gaiden Black and feel really, really bad. In fact, they should have been doing that for the past ten or so years.
Guys, it's okay to step off of the "political correctness" bandwagon for a second and hurl over the addition of microtransactions to this g...
I think the people who were actually concerned and not trolling were more thinking of the myriad headline-baiting articles that popped up going "PSVR is only $399!" "Here's why PSVR will cure cancer and end global warming!" If they presented the information accurately - the way it needed to be presented - that would be one heck of a big headline.
Those of us who read will get the actual pricing idea regardless.

Immediate backlash regarding the value of PS Plus happened because of the lack of the Driveclub PS Plus Version, but the problem wasn't a backlash - it was perception at launch.
Evo, through Sony's funding, did so much to make that game great after launch, but at launch it was a mess - server issues, glitches, a lack of good content, missing features that were touted at E3 and in trailers. Before launch, we all heard about Evo's inner tur...
Half of it is, but the field sections are much much more Naruto Storm.
After watching enough Man V Food, I think I can safely say that if Dark Souls had a food challenge, it would indeed be hot wings. Well done!
Three words:
FROG FRACTIONS 2.
...Okay? This was a topic of discussion three years ago and there wasn't much here except a more recent lineup of games.
Do we really have to be concerned yet? I'd wait for P5.
