Wii Street U? Is that where your WiiU teams up with a couple of other WiiUs for some basketball, rap, and sick jumps?

Agreed. The article is basically asking Ubisoft to not be Ubisoft, not just alter stuff for The Division. This isn't so much "Terminate your The Division season pass plans" as it is "Get your crap together and make better games, Ubisoft."

This is an interesting analogy, and I love pizza, so I'll jump in.

Yes, you do have the right to demand your pizza is made the way you want. You don't want pineapple, they can do that. However, the ability or inability for the pizzeria to make the modifications you want is limited. Maybe the owner of the pizzeria would absolutely love to use only San Marzano tomatoes the way it would be in Italy or something, but it isn't possible. You can still demand it, but the...

That's a really neat deal. If I was into The Division as much as I were into mechanical keyboards, I may have taken them up on the offer!

It's a real problem that we all seem to have different definitions of censorship that don't line up.

Writers like this say "This isn't censorship!" while it most definitely is - censorship does not need to be governmental. Writers on the complete other side of things equate this type of corporate censorship with government censorship, and even go so far as to blame some cabals, conspiracy theories, whatever.

If the writer just acknowledg...

SF4 was a great port, and a tolerable launch release given the other options. I'm kinda surprised 3D Land isn't on there while NSMB2 is, but that might be chalked up to taste like with the Zelda games.

Fantasy Life, though - I haven't played that. Heard all about it, it seemed interesting, but kinda evaded me.

This looks a bit like Grandia's battle system, and a little bit of Skies of Arcadia in the design... hopefully this is good!

Hopefully Itoi would be cool with that, but that would be so neat if it happened.

Good list! I'd have Link Between Worlds up over the remakes, but that's just my love for the older style. Agreed on Fire Emblem, too. It just came together so well!

Is FF Explorers really that good? Like, I was thrilled about Monster Hunter 4 but I burned out on it after 50 hours or so... is it about the same?

Nope, not like that - I completely agree with you, screw streaming until our net infrastructure isn't laughable. The medium demands a different process, as BS like PS Now, OnLive, and such have shown. Something that's more like a rotating collection, such as Netflix, with a large set of old games that can be downloaded and played for months. Licenses might expire from third-parties, and that's why stuff rotates.

This would work very easily for anything NES through...

Personally, I like how wild they're going with the designs they were showing at the KI World Cup. Iron Galaxy's doing a great job with that second season, and good on them!

But, just like MK, I enjoy watching SF tournaments far more. To me there's just something a little more universally understandable and clean about how the mechanics work, even with all the silly acronyms and terms people throw around.

This was announced back when Nintendo really had a crisis of identity going on. Of course, they started out not making games, but cards, toys, etc. - Gunpei Yokoi himself invented that weird grabby-arm thing that you see in WarioWare. Their worry may have been that the market was again shifting from games to other things, and Apple and Google had phones locked down, so... biometrics and personal health it is!

...until really cheap biometric devices for personal health saturat...

What exactly would change if that were the case? hehe.

I didn't get to play this on PS2, and now I'll be able to experience a completely new version of it with an enhanced soundtrack by Sakimoto? I can't wait...

That last Final Fantasy trailer is so MGS it may as well have "A Hideo Kojima Production" at the top of it. And I'm hyped.

"If the handheld wants to be able to work with a home console, then the dual screen setup has to go."

Are you sure about that? This could render WiiU backwards compatibility obsolete. Wouldn't they want to leverage these games that millions of gamers haven't played yet, especially Mario Maker?

"making it clear it’s a Nintendo product. Something simple like the Nintendo Touch or perhaps the Nintendo Next (as a call back to the NX codenam...

One of my absolute favorites. I chased getting those secret ships for so, so long. That soundtrack, too!

These are all great games on PC. I'd be happy with any of them - AAC because I want it on another system, AH and BF because I haven't yet bought them but I've seen them in action quite a bit.

Can't disagree with your opinions, Kwisatz Haderach! I really should try Obduction. I'm just loving the heck out of this, *whatever it is*. I've played quite a few 60-buck releases in the past six months or so, and this one stands out among just about every one of them.

Maybe I have horrible taste! It's a game people are very divided on. But I don't have a dog in the fight when it comes to personalities. All I know is that Phil Fish cancelled his second g...

It is extremely worth it, if you ask me.

What's interesting about the scenery is that it's not "scenery." The environment around you has a lot to do with how the puzzles themselves work, whether it's through architectural hints, sound, light, etc. Plus, in each region the puzzle's rules change to fit that region's ideas and secrets.

Some people will pick this up, get frustrated by a puzzle, and probably put it away. If you're...
