Ascalon, that's exactly what I picked up from this. They have something to announce, and it's not Metal Gear Solid 5. You would figure that if they're going to do another MGS right now, that would be the one to do.
They have something else up their sleeves. And it's not going to be announced in a Microsoft press conference. If it's not Policenauts/Snatcher 2, it has to be ZOE3. At least, that's what I'm hoping, unless they're just making...
@GrieverSoul - Yes, definitely, when compared to other PS3 games graphics-wise, it's looking like this one's up in the top tier; of course, that's because Sucker Punch has had time to improve on their past work, on an engine they originally built from the ground up. Colin didn't have anything that would bring the score down, which seems odd, but he said it looks "great," which would typically mean something in the above average range, or the 8's.
@Ksense - Multiplayer? In Infamous 2? While that sounds okay, with electric/fire/ice dudes jumping everywhere and all, Infamous 2 is a single-player game. So, yeah, I'm looking for reviewers to treat it as a single-player game. The user-generated content stuff is awesome, but that isn't really multiplayer, it's shared creativity.
You're not going to see a restaurant losing a star in a review because there just wasn't enough snowboarding. You didn't ...
I don't normally say this on N4G, but I love you all! I can't believe I didn't think of Toshinden!
Screw Rise of the Robots. Bring back One Must Fall 2047! Complete with a shareware disc and everything. In threeeeeee-deeeee!
Edit: Someone mentioned OMF below also! I'd acknowledge this by replying, but *looks at bubbles... sobs*
Virtua Fighter 6 is the only answer I'm concerned with! (well, because 3rd Strike Online has already been confirmed)
But yeah. It's probably Killer Instinct. Marketing dudes are going to go nuts over the success of the latest Mortal Kombat game, all the while not realizing that it's because of the quality of the game, not the premise.
I can't wait until we anticipate games without a number on the end of their title. Some day, people, some day.
They had to explain R&D costs. Meaning they're researching and developing the console right now. In terms of hardware specs and launch prices, it looks like they'll have nothing of the sort at E3. Maybe, just maybe, we'll get a PS4 teaser, but nothing that describes the nuts and bolts or the price.
Huh. A 2D side-scroller. Why couldn't they make this thing sprite-based and just enhanced by polygonal stuff, like SOTN or something? This just looks aesthetically barren at the moment, like some launch-window PS2 game.
I still can't understand for the life of my why the official pronunciation of this title is "Nex-ee-us." It's spelled "Nex-oo-eez," and why in the universe would someone name something Nex-oo-eez? Maybe they should pronounce it "Nex-whiz?" Maybe it's an international thing.
There's an event at the end. You know, for the press guys in the audience. I'm guessing they'll give them three or 2 1/2 hours to try out something, maybe all the launch titles for the NGP. The only hands-on time people had with the NGP was one small event in Japan from what I've read... right?
I agree, but the crackers (not hackers) cracked Sony's servers. Sony "did" the outage - rightfully so, but they did it. I want to see the same thing happen to the criminals, but let's call it like it is. Those guys don't deserve the "hacker" moniker.
On his publicly available Twitter account? Get ready, people - this ain't no suicide note, it's this year's E3-related cryptic countdown!
"Punch Punch Go!"
Anyone? Anyone?
Eh, I've seen worse Chobot stuff, and they're pretty obvious tips anyway, but really, why would you want to view a video on this so early? You should definitely experience something that's so story-driven like LA Noire firsthand, no spoilers or tips (no matter how obvious), at least for your first entire playthrough. It's not like they made the game unbeatable.
Failed launch, sure. If anyone thinks Nintendo's losing a bit of sleep over the 3DS launch, they're out of their gourds. Sure, they launched below their sales figures. Whatever. They knew their launch lineup wasn't good - I'm not sure why they started so early, but they all know that once the first Mario title appears, the thing will print money again. In 3D.
Personally, I can't wait until developers get in gear (or Nintendo lets them get in gear), ...
The article sounded sketchy, as the only evidence he has is that the guy liked Dragon Age 2. I know there are at least a few people out there who liked that game. Just because I didn't doesn't mean I don't believe the entire globe doesn't.
It's a plot point in a fictitious story, a story that rips from 10-year-old headlines apparently. I don't care.
On the other hand, Modern Warfare 2's hate-baiting "Fight Against Grenade Spam" viral ad is still atrocious to this day. If they concentrated on advertising actual parts of the story back then, even the "No Russian" terrorist act, I may have bought that game. But no, I knew where that company stood after seeing that awful ad. This ...
This is looking significantly creepier than its predecessor for sure... did you see that first screenshot on the list? What the heck is that thing??? It'll be number one on what I blame for nightmares until it's replaced by seeing that thing moving around.
In a perfect world, no one should be buying games that they don't want and not returning them promptly... but I know better than that from experience.
I'm looking at you, Final Fantasy XII, and your giant black hole of zero interesting story content between the middle-end of the story and the final boss...
Dear web author... don't immediately 404 your own work! What's up? I was looking forward to reading a tribute article from (obviously, given the username) one of my favorite Net personalities!
