I think RE5 is a unique situation. It's not just blacks, it's in Africa, becasue that's where the "infection" started, made by Japanese who's culture is probably more racist right now than American's.

The question shoud be is RE5 racists. Given the totality, yes, in my opinion. Is it racist enough not to play it, not on its face. Have to see what else is in the game. Probably not though. Are games in general racist? Well America definitely has racists who dedicate the...

>>Rock on for her. He makes her happy so I am happy but he never brings up the racist junk. He never once has ever said "My people were oppressed" well damn how many people still alive in your family still remember being slaves in a field?<<

Do you know any black people who do that? Don't confuse media and politics with reality.

Have you ever played a Black Hero, killing a bunch of whites, in Alabama?

Racism is a social context. Whites are the majority and in reality, have never been the subject of racism and by definition cannot be. Sure, you can count the anectdotal stories of individual experience but that's not social racism.

It's like TV. Sure, there's bad images of whites on TV, but for every bad image there's 100 god ones. There's balance. Whereas the images of blacks on TV is pre...

There is racism in America. Obama had his office signs burned down and staff called racial slurs in PA. Vandalism of his office in Indiana. But, he still came within 20k votes of winning Indiana.

Point is, we won't eliminate all racism. It's just not going to happen. But it is so marginalized, it doesn't matter. Organized racism is like the polygamist sects. They're there, but so remote, unless they organize and go into the wrong area bringing attention to themselves, it's just...

I'm interested to see what Sony does with their TV and Movie downloads. They're talking open standards. It will be a huge event if Sony let's you take them to any portable device or to your PC. I won't need to upgreade until Sony has downloadable media content, I have 160G now.

Choice is good.

I agree and disagree. 32bit systems will only read 3.25 gig. But Vist x64 does not have awful compatibility rates. I've been using x64 at home, and we've gone x64 in the datacenter for some time now.

On the backend, compatibility is not an issue. You're mostly talking SQL and Servers which are infinitely more stable and eat all the memory you can throw at them at 64-bits.

On the desktop, Vista 64 is much, much more compatible than XP 64 was. There's nothing I don...

I'm itching to buy one of these for my PS3. I'd prefer not to pay $300.

I think I'll upgrade my LCD from 40" to 52" for this. Indeed I shall.

If true, releasing an SKU with internal Blu-ray is technically, "not introducing a blu-ray drive for Xbox 360."

Meaning no external drive. Microsoft could release it as an uber set-top box, who knows. We'll have to wait and see. The manufacturers have no reason to spread the rumors, while Microsoft has every reason to keep it as quiet as possible until it is released.

My fault. I didn't mean since Safari for Windows was released. Safari 3.1 is the version pushed with iTunes. There have been no updates since they began "pushing it".

Edit: There is a 3.1.1 so they have updated it. Unfortunately, it's not enough. When you start pushing a Web browser to Windows, you have to work a whole lot harder to keep the browser secure. You can't hide behind the obscurity of the Mac platform.

Like it or not, given the financial section this is in, and given the companies mentioned (develop 90% of all laptops, consoles, and motherboards) I think a Blu-Ray Xbox is a done deal. Interestingly, Sony's first Windows Mobile Smartphone is available in 3rd Quarter as well.

Maybe this will result in a 64-bit flash client? It's long overdue.

Too bad Safari is a security risk, at least on Windows, with no patches since release.

I actually prefer the look and feel as well as its bookmark system to IE. It's fast enough, but in the end IE's caching makes it faster after the first day.

Also, Safari is unusable in the Enterprise for security reasons. IE has security zones and security can be managed with GPOs. For home, though, I really wish Apple would fix the security issues. It is a slick browser.

They have said it will be one of their "premium" phones. We'll have to see. I want one too.

It's not just PS3. If you read the whole article, 360s are having problems as well with some reports of the game causing RRoDs; just not as many reports as PS3.

Should be AO. At the very least, tougher santions for retailers who sell to kids. If parents buy it for the kids, then that's their problem.

We need the game to get the full experience, the movie left me hangin'. In the movie, for all that racing around and high powered rifle, he didn't shoot a thing.
